[question] redirecting a domain in godaddy bought domain

Hi,

SUB: Redirecting a domain in GoDaddy bought domain,

• I added my first website URL in 'forward domain' option of GoDaddy bought domain.

• Further I replaced that with a second website URL afterwards.

BUT when I tried to open the domain, it is redirecting to ONLY first website. if I clear browser cache it is ok.

** NOTE & Q :

- Should I ask my "USER'S" to CLEAR their "BROWSER CACHE" Each Time I update my "REDIRECT URL", AND refresh to "SEE MY WEBSITE with UPDATED URL"?

Because your question is confusing. I've to spent few minutes to understand it, and still I'm not sure if I get it right.

What you are asking is redirecting your sub domain using the godaddy panel. But it's not updating as you've to first clear the cookies/cache when you make any changes in the URL to redirect you to the updated URL? AHH man, WTF even I'm writing here.. lol

Anyway, that's not how everyone does it. I'm not sure why you're keeping on changing the subdomain forward url? If it's for some affiliate reason where you need to update your URL more often, then do not do it what you are currently doing. Because changes on the domain's end take time to update, instead link it with your hosting and do the redirection by a simple 2 line .php code. If you've already linked your main domain then add this domain into the addon and upload the link redirection php file in the subdomains directory. This way people will always redirect to the updated forward URL, they won't have to clear browser cache/cookies.
