Question on reused content yt

Background : I was recording the Holi celebration but I saw there a guy with a big camera, he is the owner of a studio in my village, I asked him why he is recording. He said he will create a yt channel and post it on YouTube.

Quest : If I take the video from his PC and upload it on my channel, would it be counted as reused content if he also posts that video on his channel ?

If you Upload it first obviously no, if he uploads it first obviously yes.

It is not a good idea to use the same video.

If you both are not focusing on monetization means you can go for it.

Thats wrong. Only the second one uploading it has the problem. If otherwise you could just create a channel and reupload your competitors videos to get them demonetized

Nan, If someone stole others' videos which are not uploaded before youtube, Do you think they won't get a problem.
They just need to prove it was stolen videos. That's enough.

Thats ofcourse true, but proving this is really hard, you probably need a watermark in the video. But generally your post was not true.

It's better not to. If you both upload the same video, it may cause unnecessary trouble.

If video is already uploaded one, no you cannot use it. It will cause duplicate content.
