[QUESTION] How to rank on YouTube 2016?

Dear BHW community,

First of all, thank you for reading this and trying to help me! I promise as soon as I become a little bit more experienced in this "internet world" I will try to help you as well, and give back to this great community!

My question is, how to rank on YouTube? I read a lot of methods on this forum, but now I would like to ask if You can share your ideas, and methods with me.

I found a great niche with unbeliveable views. There are a lot of small channels doing this, but these are really low on views. There are some big ones with like 80-100 million views on a video, I don't really want to fight with them, but I would like to achive about 10% of what they did at least.


I already know, that the file name, title, description, tags etc. is really important, but I still can't be found in the search engines. Btw I got about 500 views on my video, I still don't know how...

Please let me know if you have any experience in this thing.

The description is the most important thing.

You need to generate it my reverse engineering the youtube algo and analyzing your competition.

Then channel authority is also a big thing!

Keyword and paid traficc

Should I use long-tail keywords and a keyword tool? If the Fiverr traffic good? Or where should I buy traffic? AdWords is pretty expensive for me.

Don't use fiverr for youtube. It harmed my channel. Better search sellers here on this great forum.

Any suggestions about members doing this?

You want to be careful using keywords in the description - too many, too obviously and youtube will flag up and give you strikes, directly or indirectly impacting your revenue.
