[QUESTION] Calling all YouTube GODS!

I want to start my own journey on YouTube. However, I have few questions.

I will do Top 10 videos on YouTube, not compilations but informative Top 10 like Facts Verse, or Watch Mojo. I will use a good TTS application(can't disclose what TTS I am using). And the information that I have are from List Verse.

My question, will I be in trouble for using List Verse's articles? Because I didn't paraphrase it. I literally copied everything word for word. I know this is a stupid question but I saw some YouTuber did this, also on a Top 10 niche, and he didn't get flagged or the channel didn't receive a strike.

Never do something just because u saw someone did it and nothing happend to them. The reason they do not get flagged it's because they took permission for using the footage

Tried it with listverse a while back, they have copyright on their lists and my top videos got removed. So be careful

Thanks. So should I paraphrase the article? Or perhaps you know some site that has a poop ton of conspiracy articles like list verse but not top list just articles and maybe I should go on that route rather than doing top 10 videos.

First of all, using TTS is a near guaranteed demonetization (longterm it is guaranteed). It is against Youtubes TOS. And using articles from other ressources might get your videos copyright claimed.

To be safe don't do it or ask for permission and if u want to try at least upload it first on a channel that u don't need and see what youtube gonna do about it.

The TTS software that I'm about to use was used by someone here and he got accepted on monetization. So I thought might as well try it.

Of course you can try it but as soon as your channel gets manually reviewed (it happens to EVERY monetized channel after some time), everything might be gone from one moment to another.

If I were you, I would do the voice in person or outsource it.

If this won't work, I think I have to use my own voice and do some fancy voice editing in Audacity. Thanks!

You can do what ever want. But at the end of the day you wont be eligible for Monetisation.

As per new Tos TTS is considered as automation (bad quality video zero work) also as copy paste work.. these TTs onky work if you add your own script instead of copying someone articles.
