Hey guys,

So I just realized that I opened my paypal account before 18 (I'm over 18 now), and paypal doesn't like that apparently. I am expecting to receive a big amount of money next week (4 figures) which is unusual for my account and I don't want paypal to find to hold my money for 180 days (read this article for more info https://medium.com/@iDemonix/paypal...ine-examples-of-customer-service-42f3c13f6cd0)

So my questions now are:

Can I close my account (which is a business account) now and re-open a new one with the same e-mail ?, and if yes,
Should I wait a while before doing so and should I un-link my debit card before closing it? (I've heard paypal doesn't allow the same card on two accounts)?

Thanks.

P.S: this payment is coming from a trusted company and it's a freelance service not a product being sold.

Never trust paypal. Even if you do everything legit you can get limited by paypal. I suggest you close your old paypal (unlink credit cards and bank) and create with different email fresh pp.

I don't trust paypal, but it's a necessary evil. I just withdrew my money and unlinked my debit card. My concern is will I be able to verify my new paypal account with this same debit card?

You can use someone else PayPal to receive the money,
Probably old verified account, but if the fund is coming from fiverr, You dont have much to worry about as fiverr fund wont get your account limited or anything.
