Question about changing keyword strategy

Hi folks,

i’m really curious about what kind of enhancements on a site (like changing keyword strategy or adding content etc) have brought you the biggest increase in traffic. I am running a website that is almost 2 years old now, and i have lot’s of very niche small keywords ranking number one, but still only get like 100 visitiors a day. I am thinking about changing my strategy (already have some ideas) and would love to get some inspiration what helped others.

Add more content to target those low comp. keywords. If you got more new keywords then set separate blog posts/pages to rank them.

Everyone is going after low competition keywords, so who is going to target big ones? Try everything, push your limits.

I did on site changes for about a year and it didn't bring much traffic. But when I focused on link building I tripled my traffic (nK+ per day) in half of the year.

Adding new content and targeting new keywords is an essential part of work, but in terms of traffic I'm not so sure. Anyway it's just one example, will be happy to hear other points.

Don't change the mechanics that already works my friend. As others above have already stated: Create new killer content for your new ideal keywords and slowly but steady increase your link profile.

try to make your blog more informative. include helpful articles. obviously, keywords have a good impact on getting targetted visitors. get help from some experts who can find perfect keywords for you.

Depending on what your website is about and your specific niche 100 visits daily might not be that bad. I would definitely check what traffic my competitors are getting. They also might give you a good idea on how to improve your keywords.

Add more content that is relevant to your target audience on a regular basis. And actively promoting those posts on social media helps to get good traffic towards the site. After adding more content to our site blog section we have got good traffic.
