Thanks for this explanation... One of my competitors who is fairly new is using 5 301s to rank in top 5. Thought I'd try it too.If you expect to get some link juice from 301 redirect at the registrar level, then do not even bother. Waste of 10 bucks.
Unless you have strong domain, which is super relevant to your money site (anchors are redirected too), then you will experience no effect or even screw up your site. There have been plenty of cases like that. Not to mention, for 301 redirect to work, you need to build up the domain, let it rest, wait till it ranks at least somewhere and then redirect it.
If its a quality Website, Why need to manually index that link using indexer ?
