Query regarding Tshirt business

First of all Hello! to BHW and its members

I have been stalking this forum for over a month and decided to register a few days back and I totally love it!
However I have a doubt I wanted to clarify, I searched over on forums and google to no avail.

I don't want to make it a long post but I will answer any questions you have as soon as I can.

Basically,

Awesome post really, but the problem is that the T-Shirts will cost $12.75 (for the selected size) at no profit/loss basis, however for the same size and material type you can get T-Shirts in India for around $4.5-$7

I wanted to ask any Indian T-Shirts business guy here who can throw some light onto how they make their prices so low?

Please note that the price difference is on amazon.COM and amazon.IN

They buy them in batch (10.000+) and print them once they have an order. Price per shirt in Indonesia is between 0,50 and 2,50 Dollars the Rest is due to shipping and fees.

I see, but then that means that I will have to manage inventory right?
Any way like in the tutorial mentioned above to do it without handling inventory and delivery?

I buy in bulk and use coupons to get shirts low on my end for my Tshirt business at http://www.blazingtshirts.com. Cheers. Always buy in bulk when you can.

Buying low is fine but how to handle delivery and inventory?

Just buy your shirts as needed with orders that you receive as It's way too expensive to create every design you have on every different size and color shirt that may be ordered.

You mean to say that if I have a Tshirt on amazon and someone places an order for it, I buy the same looking Tshirt with exact sizes and just put the delivery address of the buyer?

Well you buy the blank size and color Tshirt and heat press it yourself with your equipment. I run a Tshirt business that I design, create, market, and ship my products to customers. I make decent money doing so by lowering my cost on supplies such as blank Tshirts, heat transfer paper, ink for printer, etc.

Well I don't have any equipment like that nor do I have any contacts of any such business in India :-(
I searched for T-SHirt printers in India and stuff like that but I don't know how to propely store them (inventory) and the delivery problems :/

So you're looking to sell by order a completed Tshirt from another party? You'll make little money and have twice the headache with all due respect doing that way.

You're the pro here, but I am a 17yr old university student (currently in 2nd year of my studies CS major) so I cannot handle things personally, I won't be able to get every thing delivered to/from my university campus as it will be a headache to manage it all, I would rather earn less than running to the counter in middle of class to receive a package (I don't mind bunking some classes though

) That is one of the major reasons why I want some other service/business to handle the inventory/delivery

How about AliExpress dropshipping? You can make custom T-shirts over there and send them directly to your customers.

No, just say that you are an dropshipper and they will not include any promotions or logo's from the company. IF someone buys your shirt you just buy a shirt on AliExpress and send the logo or custom design & delivery address from the client . Then your custom shirt will be send to your client.

Wow! Seems interesting, I would like to say more on this after doing some research about it, have tried googling AliExpress Dropshipping and stuff but can't find a way to register as a dropshipper, or do I have to register normally and talk to the seller?

Just register as a normal client on AliExpress. When you place your order just insert something like this in the buyer notes: "We're dropshipping, no promotions or any logo's from your company please."
Most of the times they will even speed up your order, cause a dropshipper means = more orders when statisfied = more $$$
