Hello, I have bought a few accounts here on BHW and I have a problem. A few hours after creating EC2 instances Amazon tries to charge credit card with the usage I incured for example 50$ and it of course fails and then they suspend my account. I don't understand why they tries to charge my card at the beginning. It has been told that charges are beeing done at the end of billing cycle. This is the email I have got from Amazon: Greetings from Amazon Web Services, This email is to notify you that we were unsuccessful in charging your credit card in connection with AWS usage you have recently accrued. Because we have been unable to charge the credit card you provided for the AWS usage you have accrued, your AWS account has been placed on hold and your access to AWS services has been blocked. While your account is on hold, you will be unable to launch any new EC2 instances. However, you will have access to all your data stored in AWS services and your running Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) instances. Applicable data storage and usage charges will continue to accrue. To restore your AWS Account functionality and avoid suspension, you must add an alternative valid payment instrument with appropriate credit limits for the usage you have accrued by 3/9/2017. You must contact us at [email protected] to restore your account as your account will NOT automatically be restored upon successful payment of charges. Failure to respond by 3/9/2017 may result in the suspension of your AWS account. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.
