1) Never say "i should", always say "i must".

2) Deadlines, you need deadlines for everything so that you see that you have less and less time available.

3) Visualize deadlines with countdown timers, buy a huge countdown timer (i have a 100 day countdown timer, you need to see that go from 99 days, 23 hours, 59 mins, 59 secs to 0 days left).

4) Realize that "life is short" is not just a quote teens get tattooed, life IS short, and you're already late, so get to work.

5) You will only live about 900 months (75 years), if you're 25 years old you've already wasted 300 months, and you'll be spending about 200 of the remaining 600 months SLEEPING, you do the math.
You're literally THAT CLOSE to being 60 years old without having ever done anything in your life.

6) You got one life, this is not a test life to prepare for the real one, this already is the real one.

7) You can achieve pretty much any goal in less than 3 years, that means that if you start working today you will only be able to see the effect of that action months from now, up to 3 years.

8) Fall in love with failure. Success comes from failing thousands of times, not from doing stuff the right way on first try. Also, success is not permanent, when you reach success you work to make sure you'll be safe when things will go bad, cus they will go very bad many times.

9) Anything you think you should be doing tomorrow or later today you should've done that yesterday, last week, last month, last year. YOU'RE LATE, so stop wasting your time.

10) Procrastination is you watching your life HAPPEN, not you LIVING your life. And cool stuff doesn't just "happen", you have to make it happen.

11) Realize you ARE NOT your body, you're not your mind either, that's why you say "my body" and "my mind", you know you're not your body, you are YOU, your mind is a tool YOU use to analyze data and create new thoughts and ideas, your body is the tool you use to make those ideas real.
Take care of both like any tool that requires maintenance, you won't find spare parts easily.

12) You're late, but it's never too late. It's only too late when you think it's too late and you give up.
You never really fail if you keep going, you only fail when you stop failing, cus that makes that last failure permanent.

13) Get the best sleep you can possibly get.

That's pretty much it, might add something new if i get new ideas.

"I should" oops "I MUST" print this in my office so I can see it everyday. Thanks for motivation

Those are some insightful pointers OP. I really liked #4, time is everything and we should not take it for granted.

no 7, can op tell me why 3 year?????????????????????????????based on what????????????????????????

no 7, can op tell me why 3 year?????????????????????????????based on what????????????????????????

Based on thousands of people who achieved results, people went from obese to ripped in less than 3 years, people went from broke to rich in less than 3 years, people went from terrible chess players to grandmaster in less than 3 years.

Of course if you're broke and your goal is making 500 billion USD in 3 years that's very unlikely to happen, but you can pretty much do everything in a year or two, i can guarantee you can go from 0 to $30k/month in less than a year starting with a very tiny budget, it all depends on how much work you put into it and the quality of the work you put into it, but it's totally doable.

I'm not saying you will do everything in 3 years, i said pretty much every goal is achievable in less than 3 years, some take even a year, and there's plenty of evidence of this in any field, the goal doesn't have to be super impossible of against the laws of physics of course, i took this for granted.

Of course if you whey 500 pounds today you're not going to win Arnold Classic in the next 3 years, that's common sense, the 3 year thing is not a magic rule, it's just plenty of time to achieve any achievable result.
I know people who went from making 300$ a month to 8,000$ a month in 2 months, and some people think making 8k a month takes a lifetime of flipping burgers, 2 months is less than 3 years, might be a bit of luck to make it that quick, but everyone can do that in a year, even easier in 2 years, 3 years is very generous.

This is a fantastic write-up. Not just because of all the points listed but also because this applies to every single "mission" in your life that you want to accomplish.

You kind of already mentioned it in number 8 but i think the main reason why people do not start on a project is fear. Fear of failing in particular. And the only way through this is action, massive action and massive failing. I think its no secret that the wealthiest people were going through the worst times in their early careers (Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, etc.) - They are the living example of: "What happens when you keep on failing but never give up".

Anyway, thats a great write up and i might buy myself a nice countdown timer today.

Good stuff. You're one the few people on BHW that has made claims of being a big time earner who I actually believe.

The thing is that we've all been conditioned to believe failure is something to be ashamed of, and it is in some way because when you fail most people will make fun of you, but if you really think about it failure is not real if you don't let it be real. Failure can be seen as testing, if you can try again then there is no failure, that's why before doing anything you should think "will i die if i fail?" if the answer is "no" then go for it, what's the worst thing that could happen?

People might make fun of you when you fail, but will hate you when you get it right, they'll be jealous. Indeed the only way to have everyone's approval is being a loser, when you succeed you will have very few people liking you, most people will talk shit about you saying you cheated, you scammed, you used drugs, you got lucky, you have good genes... Persistence is what matters most, most people fail because they're not willing to fail enough times, they get demotivated after failing a few times, if you want to go for something you have to be laser focused, you have to KNOW you will not stop no matter what until your vision becomes reality.

This is even more complicated in today's society where we have access to everything immediately, so we're more and more used to have everything in a matter of seconds, we're not used to earn stuff anymore, not used to put effort into something. You get a notification and immediately check it, you want something and you go on Amazon and buy it, so when you have to seriously work your butt off for something it doesn't look as charming and doesn't look like it's worth it.

It basically all starts with many little things that are easy to do, but even easier NOT to do. Reading a book is easy, everyone has the ability to do that, but not reading a book? Even easier. Saving a few grands is easy too, not saving them is even easier. Your success is the long term effect of these little things which add up in time, your failure is the long term effect of these little things not being done.

I said it's never too late, but that's not an excuse for procrastination, but if you want to be a millionaire by the age of 30 you have to act when you're in your 20's, if you start in your 50's you'll never be a millionaire in your 30's you know.

I started hitting the gym a few months ago exactly after i realized i spent my teen years wanting to be super ripped and never turned that into a reality, i want to be fit NOW in my late 20's, i don't want to be old and not know what i would've looked like if i was fit when i was young, and i don't want to be old and not know what being a 27 year old millionaire feels like so i acted quick to make sure i didn't miss that.

Thanks. Care to share where you got your countdown timer?

Got it on Amazon, i think it's a stadium timer or something. This one is pretty much the same one i have except mine goes up to 100 days and not to 999.

Thank you for this! Some pearls of wisdom.

I particularly LIKED THIS:

11) Realize you ARE NOT your body, you're not your mind either, that's why you say "my body" and "my mind", you know you're not your body, you are YOU, your mind is a tool YOU use to analyze data and create new thoughts and ideas, your body is the tool you use to make those ideas real.

This is the ESSENCE of SELF-OWNERSHIP

Hi NouveauRiche, ( do you speak french? )

Very well said. I know BHW isn't a place where people are fond of speaking about habits and a "winning mindset" but they are a fundamental part of making money online. Don't stop writing advice like this. It's super helpful. Any tips on how to become very focused on the goal and not being distracted? Perhaps you should create a BTS thread were you offer your services in coaching and being held accountable ( goals wise). The first of its kind in BHW. And I'm not even joking.

Do you watch Dan P**a? Hope to see a Journal from you in the future if your time allows it.

Really, thanks a lot mate :)
