Problem with setting of title in Wordpress website

Hello everyone, recently I encountered a situation where when Google indexes, it automatically adds the suffix "- [brand name]" to the title section. For example: How to lose weight quickly - ABC. I searched through Wordpress and couldn't find where I set this up, I wonder if anyone has encountered this problem and has a solution.

My initial guess was that the title was short, so the suffix was added like that, I wonder if that's right?

So there are two possibilities as to why this is happening

1. Rankmath is doing that for you.

Goto Rankmath > Titles & Meta > Select your preferred post type where you want to fix the titles (for instance Posts)

You should see the title format - if it is something like %title% - %sitename% - simply change it to %title%

2. Google is doing that for you.

If the above setting is already set to just show titles, then Google is the culprit.

In a bid to enhance UX, they will show brandname at the end of the title.

If this is the case, then unfortunately you can't do anything.

This issue is known as title tag rewriting, where Google modifies your original titles in search results, often adding your brand name for relevance or clarity.
