Hey, here is the thing:

1. I have a site where I sell things and if the main author finds out, he may file dmca. Now, some sites gets taken down and some don't. Now, how do I be careful with such things? Do I need any kind of special web hosting and such? What precautions should I take for such sites? Like using a VPN from where I operate and maintain the site? I'm noob on these technical things.

2. I am about to take payments for selling those things online and the buyer is nagging me for accepting via PayPal. Now, if I take the payment via paypal and when the main company/author finds out and complains to paypal, paypal can block my account which I don't want.

So, what is the next best trusty payment gateway that I can tell my customers to use so that I can accept and then transfer the money from there to my local bank?

Hoping to get some info with these.

Not yet. Is skrill good? And can you tell about the precautions I should take for my site?

it is quite easy. the problem is, u cant dispute if anything goes wrong. unless u are a vip member. but u need to spend some amount to reach vip status

for verification, u need to selfie with your documents(photo id). they want to ensure it is u and not someone else with stolen documents

As everybody know, it's easy to chargeback people via Paypal. if you pay first via skrill, you have to be 101% sure that you wont get scammed, cos you simply have no chance to get your money back.

You are unable to do chargeback for Skrill, until and unless you are a VIP Customer. That too their team will investigate the case and provide you the possible solution. If youu want to become a VIP MEMBER then you should have made atleast total transactions of worth 10K$ in a financial year. However,if the fund to your Skrill account is added by Credit Card, you can file a case with your credit card company. But that would be unethical to do.Because I believe that you have made the transaction with your sense.

So, suppose Mr. A buys something from Mr. B and Mr. A tries to be an Ahole and decides to do a chargeback. But for that he would need to upgrade his Skrill account or pay some money for doing a chargeback?

But in this context, I am asking what if the main author/company tells skrill that I sold a copyrighted content. What would be the scenario then?

Bumping this now.

I really need some help and info on this.
