Hello, can someone please explain something quickly. I want to pay per click, and send it to my affiliate link. I've chosen campaigns that except web and search traffic. I've tried setting up a campaign with a direct link to my affiliate, and then in the display url, just using the .com of the affiliates url. The ads were denied due to the display url.

So now I'm confused, how's this done, can I even do PPC -> Direct CPA Link?
Or do I need to send the traffic to my website with an iframe or refresh?

Some of the CPA offers explicitly say they need a landing page, so I have no confusion about those, I'll make a landing page on my site and send them on through. But the ones that say no restrictions, I figure accept a direct link, but google has a problem with the display url, when using the affiliate domain.

Quick explanation would be awesome. I've found some wicked "buying" keyword phrases with decent searches and no adwords competition for some of the offers.

Also is my thinking right? I find a nice spot for my adwords paying $0.02-$0.05 sending the traffic to a CPA that has a $20/cpa and $0.90 cent average ppc. Although not alot and not gauranteed, wouldn't that make money? Is that how it's done?

make both the display url and the link url related to whatever your promoting

so for example if your promoting cell phones use WHATEVER url and destination url related to your keywords. So you could use newcellphones.com for example.

Then just edit the destinations in edit keywords setting under keywords to the affiliate url

I do this and it works fine

Curious what kind of conversions you see on this? I'm using targeted long tail keywords using "Phrase" and not broad. I've found phrases including "buying" words like (free trial, trial, buy, purchase, delivered, get, try etc) all within the niches that I'll be marketing. They get fairly low hits (30-600) in google keywords tool, and have 1-3 competitors, some have none.

What I'm wondering is how you judge your maximum CPC?

I was thinking of offering a max of 1/8th of the estimated return after conversion.

Let's say the CPA is $35.00
    Conversion is about 5%

    So The EPC is ~$1.80

Would setting a maximum bid of $0.23 be reasonable, or am I being too cheap?

Since I'm direct linking I should expect close to this, if my keywords are quality enough.

This is not exceptionally clear. I believe what most people do is get a domain name that is relevant to the offer, and then use a meta-refresh/301 redirect to send traffic directly to the advertisers landing page(the actual link people are referred to is http://yourdomain/keyword). But then again, what the heck do I know?
