I subscribed to the poweruphosting linux ssd vps tier 3 plan and have had a really painful journey thus far. Their buildup at the start was so promising, I transfered all my important projects to them and in just the first month, I have had 7 major crashes all because of some random server mismanagement on their end.
Have lost atleast 500$ of revenue because of their inefficiency at maintaining their linux servers !! Not to mention the hours trying to debug the crashes thinking it was something I had done on my server configuration.
To top it off, they didn't even add the right configuration for what I paid and it was only after I realized that they fixed.
Really depressed, waiting for the last 7 hours for them to fix another random crash in their server as I write this. My patience has been tested to the absolute limits and it kills me to have to reconfigure back with my previous provider whom i so acrimoniously deserted to save a few dollars.
Poweruphosting, if you offer a product in hosting, please ensure the service and people monitoring/handling it are top brass or don't offer the service at all. Being a coder myself, I had patience with you not 1,2 or 3 - 7 times !!
I am not the kind to rant in public, but I have tried everything in trying to plead with their support to prevent repeating the blunders that is causing my server to repeatedly freeze/crash/stop. And it happened once again.
This is one last chance for the administrator of Poweruphosting to address this issue and promise me that things will be as I expect hereon, or I am never looking back.
