Powerful and unknown strategy to strong backlink and traffic

Hello BHW,

I've never seen any post about this kind of strategy, but I took adventage of it.

In 2016 I created a youtube playlist with 26 videos from other channels. It was fanmade dubbing movie that wasn't able to be uploaded to youtube as a whole, so it was 26 parts of this movie.

What I did was, created a youtube playlist with the name (translated)
{ *name of the movie* whole movie }. Now, after about 2 years this playlist have more than 1.1m views, which means:

1. 1.1m times was my playlist used to view all those videos
or 2. All those videos got 1.1m views thanks to my playlist.

So now to the strategy. As this playlist has a big autority and is first in many keywords on youtube, im able to use it.

I can:
Add other videos to the playlist, that could promote business
Put links or something into the playlist title
Put links or other stuff into playlist's description

Some statistics I've got:
As I didn't really do much because I didn't want to destroy autority I just added links into the description of playlist. There are about 50 clicks every week.

So what do you think?

Pretty interesting.

The links are probably pretty powerful because of the clicks, but they wouldn't be very relevant.

Cool tactic for sure though. Seems like it would only work great for specific businesses and websites though.
