hey guys, I didn't know where to post this, so if it is in the wrong section, please move it.
I was just cheking my email, and noticed the was an email with the subject "Share your opinion and get $10 USD free from PayPal " I found it odd so I decided to check it out, but first, I logged into my account so that if it was a phishing mail, I would've known since, it would've ask for login.
So the email took me to a survey (which I didn't even touched); and it looked fakin weird, It was a stand alone domain (not subdomain) and also had a very different graphic feeling. I also checked the whois data, and it didn't fit completely, so I sended an email to paypal.

here's a screen capture from the mail i've sent:

Yeah that email mockup is easy as pie. good thing you got a clue!

not sure what email provider you use, but with gmail, whenever you get a legit email from a trusted Paypal address (i think they check not only the address itself, but ips and whatnot) there will be a small key symbol next to the email, so even before you access it, you know that it's legit, so you can ignore/avoid all the Paypal emails which don't come with the key symbol

and don't click on any urls what you find in dodgy looking emails, not even because of curiosity, you can do more damage for yourself than what you gain

btw i can't remember when was the last time when a scam email would actually hit my gmail inbox, they always go to the spam

Yeah, anyways I'm posting this for people who donno qhout tho saw stuff, so id no to treated lightly

When you get such an email all you have to do is move your cursor over a link and it'll show you the real address, never open an email as you tell them you address is live and they'll bombard you later. Just bin without opening or send it to paypal phishing and they'll investigate
