What is the name for the popups that appear asking for your email address when you leave a site?

I want to add one to my own sites.

Can anyone recommend the better ones to use please?

I always prefer "glue exit popup" to capture my outgoing users. It helps a a lot because it will tell you position of user when he left your page. It is unique and very handy. Try it and you will ignore free plugins.

Exit popups can annoy visitors but sometimes helps you build a list. I bought ninja popup for my site. Check it out.
