Poor Mans Power Linking

Dude seriously WTF! Can you try to organize your thoughts.

As for your tools and techniques...well, do some research and experimentation. These methods on here are only as good as the user, so take one, spin it, and make it unique so the juice goes to your money site.

Try doing more primary research, I'm sure there's something you missed.

lol. Sideways thinkers of the universe unite!

I could rearrange his post in a linear fashion, but it wouldn't be as fun.

I'll follow a thought train like that any day.

I am sure much of this rant is lost somewhere in the lower part of my Googywithers, but the top part sure is good, and the tools mentioned are top notch and not too expensive. Read it a few times and you will get the idea. Spend some time making good keyword focused articles and spin them well. Make sure you use AMR's capabilities, one of the most important of which is the ability to get the exact URL's of your published articles, so you can actually implement the techniques Scritty describes. This may be sideways thinking, but the best black hat methods always are. Thumbs up!

Thanks fellow Brit - Good post. About to buy AMR - back on a one time payment.

Haha - I too lost you at Tony Blair.

After re reading this a few times it has been helpful! Some people think like trains, non stop but strong lol :)

What was hard to understand before the rant?
Thank you Scritty for this post. I was actually thinking this might be a good way to go before I read this. I hate the thought of building up a bunch of web 2.0 sites and having them knocked down.

Probably the only post on this forum with over 50 words that i've read all the way through. You should go get hammered more often Scritty lol.

TY

PR7+ Blogging or web2.0 platforms with ******** links are getting more and more scarce.

PR4,5 and 6 article sites that love your single post are all over the place - and almost all are "********"

Don't waste time and money on expensive subs that post your stuff on a a ton of low end nofollow low PR sites.

There are less than 10 sites left that are really worth your content. wordpress.com, livejournal and a couple of others. For most, it's a total waste of time.

If you make 4 or 5 webrings only a month then a tool to post to these few sites is also probably a waste of cash.

A one off payment tool for article sites, bookmarking and indexing will save you a ton of cash AND give you content that is still there next year.

love the info and love the rant more. yes, I got the Tony Blair reference. :D

You also mentioned Warcraft, you could have easily switched that out with Starcraft II and made the same statement. Sucked when I started playing cause I couldn't find an up to date guide in the big G.

Question, though:

then take the ones with PR4 or higher and spray them with cheap 'n' cheerful links (Xrumer or a cheap subscription - ie not Angela's)

If one doesn't have Xrumer, what do you recommend?

I use a few different tools.

One is Simple Leveraging (a WSO - sorry but it is)
It's a private network of about 350 sites that let you put on 30 links per site per day (they have tool that automates it pretty much)

That's about 9000 links per day if you use them.

Another would be Sick Submitter. It's a bit tecky, but ok.

FInally, the triumverate of...

Ping
Bookmark
RSS Submit

Put together still doesw wonders

I use scrapebox for ping, with 1000+ in my ping list
BMD for bookmarking and
Fast Submit for RSS (I host my own - good RSS tools will allow you to turn a page into an RSS XML file for submission quite quickly)

Of course - you could do the lot (SLS, Ping, Bookmark and RSS submit)

I do, and I have about a 99% success rate with indexing.
So if you use a tool like Article MArketing Robot, you can create 600+ links (how many I normally end up with for a well spun article) and get 590+ of them actually indexed

I would also make some WEB2.0 structures as well - but given the paucity of decent spammable sites these days, 10 or 12 is aboutr all I would ever use - I certainly wouldn't bother buying a tool to do this any more, there just aren't enough places to post to to warrant a one hundred and fifty bucks a month tool - essp when stand alone tools for keywords, bookmarking,RSS submission and mass linking are so much cheaper AND BETTER in the long run (better is a vital popint in here - make no bones about it, Nuke et al does not have a very good set of extra tool - they are adequate at best. MNF and Samurai far exceed Nuke for keywords. BMD and BMWiz are 100x better for bookmarking, RSS SUbmit and Fast RSS have 3-4 x more places to submit to than Nuke. AMR and Edwinsofts new article program are again substantially better than Nuke (quicker and more sites) for articles - and they are all one of payment.

End up paying almost two thousand bucks a year for a tool that posts to ten good sites and pads itself out with a load of crappy second rate "extras" ( the ten good sites is something you could do yourself in seconds once you have made a few shortcuts and simple keyboard macros)

THe best advice is - find something MANUAL that works for you and your style of marketing (big sites/small sites/lotsa sitees/one or two sites/local/adsense/high ticket ect ect - we are all different)

Find what works and then AND ONLY THEN automate what works.

Don't buy tools first and look for a system to use them in.
Get a system THEN buy tools to autmate bits of it.
