I have a question regarding DMCA. Since namesilo would forward the complaint to my offshore hosting provider, does pointing the nameserver to cloudflare defeat the purpose? I want to use it to block my site ip and also thinking to use the CF Stream to serve adult content. So would they forward the complaint to me or my host? If using their service like CF Stream, would they just take down the content?

I never used cf stream but usually Cloudflare forwards DMCA complaints to the host. They don't do anything themselves as it's not their job to engage with the complaints. If your host ignores DMCA, then nothing happens. If you share your personal or payment details for cf stream, they may forward it to authorities in case of legal issues.

Yea. That's my concern. Plus they don't accept crypto, so i don't know how other adult sites manage to use their services.

It's better to avoid them for streaming or use fake payment accounts and VPN to hide your identity. They'll forward all your details in case of a court order:
Do you think it's safe to use just their dns to hide site details? I dont know how much info they would gather with my NS etc.

I used to do game hacks CPA like crazy with my own personal details for everything. Some gaming companies started a crackdown and sent DMCA notices to all landing pages. Cloudflare just forwarded the complaint to my host and to my surprise, the host ignored it. I quickly changed the URL but they eventually flagged the site as malicious so I had to abandon it. I don't think Cloudflare involves in the process too much unless you do something dangerous or unethical. A regular cloudflare account to hide your host from your competitors should be fine.
Yeah nothing too crazy but still im just worried if my host ignores the complaints they keep on coming and following it up or something XD I might ask my hosting provider see whether they recommend it tho
