POD and Affiliate ... Same website. Will it work ?

Hi everyone, I have an idea about a Print On Demand website, but now I see that it could work amazingly for affiliate too, should I combine the two on the same website? Would one "side" of the business hurt the other?

I'm planning to bring traffic all-seo, the product pages of the store part are going to be seo optimized, and the blog part as well.
It's like a matter of having two streams of income under one roof.

And in case it is not a problem, how should I proceed with it? As a brand having a blog section? Or as a Blog selling merch? (I'm thinking the first option, but I want to know your take on this.)
