Plimus PayPal.. WTF?

Update to new Payment processors:

I had contacted "kagi.com" and "fastspring.com" and they reject my application by saying that they do not allow services like webdesign and SEO.

Any one with good payment processor???

guys i saw in WorldPay is paypal accepting but fuck its old one processor & hard to get accepted and im not sure if they need us to own a paypal already ?!?!?

Okay just from the phone with :

http://www.securetrading.com/paypal.html

Dont bother with them, you need one of their accounts, and you need paypal and you have to pass credit check and you have to have a certain bank ID.... and on and on.

I will call https://www.dwolla.com/default.aspx

And see when they will be going world wide.

I think this is our best choice guys.

Or we set up our own 3rd party Plimus like service.

What the hell is this WTF :zx11pisse

Using it for specially paypal payments

Dear Vendor,

Thank you for your letter. First of all, we want to apologize for any inconvenience caused by the new integration with PayPal and understand there are PayPal limitations preventing you from taking advantage of these changes.

Please note that PayPal does allow Bulgarian vendors to withdraw funds with the presence of a US bank account.
To view the full list of countries where such a withdrawal is possible, please click here (https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/) and scroll down to the ?Send. Receive. Withdraw? category.

If you do NOT have a US bank account, Payoneer, the pre-paid card company you may already know, can provide you with aUS account which you can use to open your PayPal account. You can then proceed with receiving payments and have your funds loaded to your Payoneer account. To withdraw funds using your prepaid MasterCard, you can go online or any ATM machine.

To apply for this account via Payoneer, you are required to first apply for a regular Payoneer account. To do so, log in to your Plimus Control Panel, go to ?Settings? -> ?Payment Methods? , change your preferred payment method to ?Plimus Prepaid MasterCard? and continue to follow the instructions on the Payoneer site. In the next few days, we?ll send you more detailed instructions, as well as contact information for a Payoneer representative who can assist you with your account.

If you have additional questions or want to get more information, please click here http://home.plimus.com/ecommerce/paypal-settings/new-paypal-model-faq
We appreciate your patience while we work to resolve this. We genuinely value your business as this transition occurs and apologize for any inconvenience it may cause.

Regards,
The Plimus Team

this is indeed the truth. Not much option left bro's. I'm wondering why the heck all the buyers wants to use Gaypal? why not they use their credit cards to pay..

I have a feeling that 80% of guys in online biz have international cards. Why they hesitate to use cards?

You see PayPal is NOT an option for me. I had a criminal investigation starting in december of last year but the federal government. They tried to pressure me and froze my checking and savings accounts as well as seized my computers, phones, etc. During this time they also requested PayPal freeze my account after looking at my Internet useage and seeing that's where all my money came in at. I got an attorney quickly and my bank accounts were given back within 24 hours as there was NO justification for this. Anyways long story short PayPal basically said fuck you we don't want to deal with this and banned me instead of giving access back - so yeah. I cannot use PayPal.

BTW I did nothing wrong if you're wondering, I was never even charged. My roomate at the time was under suspicion for something big but he plead out to something little and is finishing up an 18 month sentence now.

Anyways I was just approached by G2S.com who told me that they can offer me PayPal, Credit/Debit and a couple of other payment processing options; I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this guys? Seem legit but I have never even heard of them before. Thanks!

never heard of g2s.com. wowhaxor is it possible for you to approach them and ask them that we are a group of internet marketer and selling SEO services and software products and we want to join your site provided that we don't get in to problems.

I'm sure there are alot of guys in this thread willing to switch to new payment gateway as soon as possible.

how long 2checkout blocks the cash for :??

i had that weird idea for plimus but i dont know if it works :
1. reselling - list some service/product for $1 on some friends paypal as favour ... then resell trough your account with $100 overpricing lollll ...
2. affiliating : list product on friends account for $100 with his paypal , then give coupon code/affiliate to your account where you get $99 of the profits or 98-99 % of the profits to ourselves :D
do we need paypal in this case if we resell/affiliate :D

Dheer I will email them on all of our behalfs tomorrow. If you have anything specific you'd like me to add let know and I'll include it.

Fire I disagree. There is a $.35 cent per transaction but most of my software was around $60 and their fee is 5.5% which beats plimus' 10%. and yes it costs $50 a month but that's profit on my first transaction or less than a tank of gas which is nothing, in fact it turns me a profit if only 1 user that was unable to pay via paypal with plimus paid with this. Anyways for me it's good I suppose it depends on volume and price points though.

I've been reading reviews but if anyone has first hand experience I'd love to hear it. This is all last minute but I have to come up with an option so thanks to all for the input it is much appreciated.

I'd be really interested to hear what they have to say, Wowhaxor.

I'm using Plimus right now, but I'm not too happy with this whole PayPal integration thing. If these guys look like a viable alternative, I'm willing to give them a try.

Let us know what they have to say.

I am serious why dont we get together and make a new payment platform its not that hard just takes alot of money.

I like the idea, Dizz, but you hit the nail on the head.

"...just takes a lot of money."

Like, I'm guessing a couple of million, just to make it somewhat viable. And that would be to just get it off of the ground.

I really do like the idea, though.

Exactly. I think it would be great, in fact that is what Plimus WAS. They sold for a crapload of money in like June or July of this year the sale finalized. It was, however, started by two Internet Marketers selling digital delivery items that wanted a platform that hanlded multiple payment methods (along with CC/Debit card, e-check and even fax orders they offered both PayPal and Moneybookers) as well as license management, update e-mails/newsletters, detailed tracking and affiliate abilities.

Unforunately they allowed too many shady merchants which seems to be their PayPal issue. This is why they did away with all Make Money Online and related prodcuts a few months back, then PayPal recurring/subscription products and disabled access to a number of categories with PayPal payment and now this. IMO PP just got fed up with he chargebacks/refunds/fraud.

I know there are people here with the ability to fund and build a startup alternative although it would be quite an undertaking and if I had more $$s (a LOT more) I'd be on board as well; in fact it is so lucrative that these two marketers who started this company - well Plimus sold this summer for a cool $115 million. That shows the scope and how not quite inexpensive it is to enter this market but I think there is no better time than one like this with a void opening if you have the capital especially with tight knit communities like this and other forums discussing this matter.

Amyways like I said these guys approached me so if anyone has any questions I will include them and let them know we are all looking for a good alternative and hopefully get some more information tomorrow.

My suggestion to the entrepreneurs here who seize on this demand, is that they 1) seek to hire/pay as consultants the people who started Plimus or other alternative processors, to speed up its development, 2) consider setting it up offshore to avoid US gestapo limitations, and three 3) make sure the new processor is SELLER and buyer friendly, to both compete with PP as a convenient money transfer system, and to provide protection to IM businesses.
