I am a B2B sofa manufacturer looking to get some wholesale business, mainly overseas trade, through Google Search Ads.

Then I started to develop my Google Ads plan. I chose some ‘product words + manufacturer/supplier/factory/wholesale’ keywords to advertise, but the ones coming are retail customers and home customers.

I think it's my keywords that are the problem because I have stated in my ad copy and landing page that we are a wholesale business.

I used my keywords to look at the top 10 search results for natural Google traffic and to check the SERPs, but when I searched on Google with one of the keywords (e.g. sectional sofa manufacturer) the top 10 search results were all taken up by B2C websites, and when I searched with the other keywords, the same thing happened!

As a result, I now have a lot of questions about search intent and keywords:
  1. When I search for B2B keywords in the traditional sense (e.g. sectional sofa manufacturer), I find that the search results are mostly B2C websites. Is it necessary to continue investing in Google AdWords for such keywords?
  2. Also, are the first 10 results on the Google search page representative of the search intent for that keyword?
  3. How do I choose the right B2B wholesale keywords to advertise?
  4. Also, is it correct to assume that what I think of as a B2C site is that when you click on the site, the products are marked with a price?

I'm really confused and hope someone can answer my questions, thanks!

Hi if you already manufacture sofas why you don't use sites where is sell wholesales that already have views like alibaba or may be other and i will try to mass email stores from my areas. I think is a better plan than ads because these ads will mostly get to general public not really to peoples who want to buy in bulk from a manufacturer

Because our company only do their own official website, so decided to use Google ads, there is no way, so we can only solve the problem now!
I want to make my conversion as much as possible are B2B corresponding to the customer, of course, if all are B2B customers, which does not show, so as far as possible to increase the proportion of B2B customers

There are very less searches for B2B compared to B2C which might be the reason and instead of generic terms like "sofa manufacturer," consider using more specific phrases that signal B2B intent, such as:

"bulk sectional sofa supplier"
"wholesale sofa factory"
"commercial sofa manufacturer"
"contract furniture supplier"

These variations can help filter out retail customers and attract businesses looking for wholesale options.

I have a question.
When I take the keyword ‘commercial sofa manufacturer’ to search on Google, I found that the natural search result is the C-end website with price, so can this kind of words also be used for my B2B Google Ads?
Or is it because based on ‘commercial sofa’, it is not the general household customers to search the word, he is closer to the wholesale type of customer search, so even if ‘commercial sofa manufacturer So, even if the search result for the term ‘commercial sofa manufacturer’ is a B2C website with products and prices, it doesn't matter and can be used?

You can use some more specific long-tail keywords to emphasize your wholesale business, which may be more effective in attracting B2B customers.

For example, is ‘sofa for restaurant wholesale’ such a keyword?
