Can someone fully explain to me what I need to do to create a YouTube channel based in the USA? I live in the UAE. Do I need to use a US phone number to create my email and verify my YouTube account?

Also, which option is better for uploading videos and being active on YouTube: using a VPS with a dedicated and static IP or using a VPN?

I also read somewhere that it's better to have a residential IP, but I don’t know the difference between a VPS datacenter IP and a residential IP. Which one is better for YouTube?

yes, you can use usa, or uae number, too

do not need ip aur vps, if you use, there is no issue.

For the VPN bit, unless you absolutely know what you're doing, it's best to avoid it. VPN IPs are secure but also easily identified as coming from a VPN. You're better off getting proxies that give your residential IPs (like mobile proxies if you need IP rotation for multiple accounts, etc). If it's only one account, then get your residential IP however way you can. It'll also be good for activities, uploads, etc. since doing that without the US residential IP will affect your account. As for VPS or VPN, go for VPS but make sure it's the type or setup you need.
 
My channel is based in UK, but I get 60-70% usa audience, and the rest is UK, canada & austrailia with some small amounts from rest of world. I don't use any vpn/proxies etc. All I do is use an American voice over and I post my (long form) videos around 10-11pm GMT. (USA is roughly 5-7hrs behind us, so bit late for uk, just right for tea time usa)
I know youtube states upload time doesn't matter, but I kinda call bullshit based on my experience anyways.

Thank you for your detailed and helpful explanation. Yes, I am planning to create a YouTube channel for now. Could you guide me about VPS? I haven’t been able to find a VPS with residential IP.
Do you know of any website that offers high-quality VPS with residential IPs?
 
How many channels are you looking to make?

If it's just one you can just change the GEO on your channel and start using. I don't think they will really require another verification.

If you looking to do a handful use Skype numbers they are reliable or signalwire if you want to do in volume.

Use Dolphin Anty or Other multi login

For sure, though I might not be the best to help you about VPS. I don't rely on it too much these days. You might be able to find guides on here though, setup and such.
 
USA number and IP is not mandatory things brother. You can create USA based YT channel from your local ip and you can use your local phone number to verify the YT channel.
