To the OP, my opinion is an unqualified "I don't think so". However, why would you want duplicity? It's an opportunity to create some variation in your kw's, so why not do it? You aren't going to get any benefit by over-packing the kw's for certain, so why not open yourself to the possibility of some benefit of having more diversity?

Just do not spam kws in alt tags all the time and you will be ok.

Why would you want to have dupe alt tags? It wont help your rankings and could harm your rankings in the long term. Just use variations of the same keywords if it's on the same page.
