Hey guys,

I'm a 3 year Exec at Maker Studios and I see a lot of threads on here about services to help you get subs/views. I wanted to take a moment and tell you from an absolute expert in this field why you should NOT EVER use them if you want to build an actual YT career.

First and foremost I want to let you in on a secret about YT fraud detection. They are a little behind. The "YT Police" as I once heard them referred to are actually really good at their job and very efficient. The main problem is that they are a small team so they are months behind. If you activate a bot or hire someone to bot for you, you may get some extra views and you may see a bump for a little while but eventually they will catch up to you. There isn't a network in the world who can help you if you have cheated and most networks will terminate your contract if they suspect you of cheating. DON'T DO IT.

Second, buying or paying for subs is super silly. Think about this, I could create 100 gmail accounts in about 2 hours and adding a YT account to that wouldn't take much extra time. I could then go find someone who was desperate for subs and sell him subs from all my accounts I just created. The person gets 100 extra subs and I just made some good money for a little bit of work. Sounds great, huh? Well guess what... YouTube deletes inactive accounts. So in a few months, those subs are going to disappear. In addition, those subs did NOTHING for your channel. The reason why subs are important is it means people are getting notified that your content is being released. More subs means more eyeballs on your videos when you release them. In this case, those 100 extra subs meant 0 eyeballs! Don't pay for anything that won't give you actual long term value.

Third, there isn't anyone on the planet who can actually sell you what you need. Most services I've ever talked to who offer subs or views have relatively small offerings. A few hundred subs here, a few thousand views there. The problem is that a few thousands views is only a couple of (fraudulent) dollars. To get a meaningful amount of subs or views you will have to do so much that the fraud will get elevated to a higher team (AdSense instead of YT). When AdSense fraud happens you're banned from monetizing for LIFE. You won't be allowed to join a network or partner the channel ever again.

Fourth... Now that I've told you what not to do here is what TO do. Make a facebook fan page and twitter account. Start building those up in addition to your YT channel. You are much more likely to be discovered on Facebook if you do a good job of posting cool and engaging content that people share. Don't just post your videos but also post other cool/funny/interesting/relevant stuff there too. A strong, engaged audience is what networks are looking for both when partnering with you and as you work your way up through what the networks have to offer.

Hope this helps!

I don't currently have enough posts on BHW to answer PMs yet but I have the exact same username on Reddit and am happy to answer there. I'll obviously check in on the thread and answer any additional questions you may have.

lol views is important on youtube career . but buying subs is useless. even justin bieber have fake views.

you miss the point of views. Youtubers have thousands of accounts and create new ones daily. they upload hundreds of videos daily and boost them with fake views. By the time youtube ban the account they already made money from it and have created more accounts and uploaded more videos.
AND welcome to the fun black side of the web :)

Yeah, you clearly have no idea how youtubers here make their money. Try WF.

So how does it feel to work for a network that steals your revenue?

3 post, joined today and giving REVIEW about services here on BHW. sounds XXX

Thats why i use exchange systems to get real views, likes.. everything.

Youre missing the point, there is a point for views/subscribers even for people not burning their accounts.

By having artificial views/subscribers you gain notoriety and have a better chance of having some one else sub your account. Some random guy with 15 subscribers and 700 views on his video is less likely to have his account subbed than the 1m view, 10k subscriber guy.

You show your potential subscribers that 10k "people" already enjoy your videos enough to sub to them.

Lmao, someone some where is going to promote the video. for viral, it is mostly people who dedicated themselves to sharing videos, be it on sites or to their friends / communities. As for views, views are only to rank the video and make it more obvious to watch for some. Also, you forget to mention that 99% of YouTube videos get less than 10,000 views a year when just uploaded. It does not matter about content or style, it matters on WHO WATCHEs your video and is willing to promote it.

Enough with the BS, I won't be wasting my time in baby threads like this. The only thing that really matters is whether or not your video will go viral. You can pay for a pr firm to make you viral, you can pay for a youtube seller to make you viral, or you can wait and find devoted fans to make you viral. Hope that helps.

Same goes for twitter. Regardless of the quality of content, a twitter user with 500k followers is more likely to be followed vs 10k followers as they have more perceived notoriety and following (which means they must be trusted/knowledgeble/entertaining!).

Please don't listen to newbies with 3 posts who act like they know what they are talking about. This person was obviously banned from here and came back with a new account. Those who run services on here have paid their dues, and posted an approved sales thread on bhw. If there is a problem with a service, then the place for that problem to be addressed is in the sales thread. Not coming in here and demoralizing paid services.

Hi David !

It's nice that you try to explain us a whitehat method of getting popular on YouTube. I am on YouTube since 2006 and I might be one of the most experienced around here regarding YT. Here is the deal, most of the popular youtubers have done view fraud back in the days when it was enough to refresh the page. The absolute king for view fraud is sxephil, that fucker spammed the shit out of YouTube. Also some of the youtubers who formed Maker Studios spammed youtube with fake views. (KassemG, LisaNova etc.) If you want proof for that, search for some of the oldest videos and you will see a huge number of views and a few comments and likes. I'm not going to bother to post links to the videos, but I will post a link to an old article which was posted during the times these youtubers were using fraudulent methods to get popular on YouTube : https://encyclopediadramatica.se/YouTube_View_Fraud

We know Youtube has closed eyes in these cases because they would eventually form partnerships and earn money from the ads displayed on the partner videos. If you would actually know the huge number of fraudulent views going to Youtube every day, you might pass out. The truth is, YouTube can't handle it, they were to greedy to make as much cash as possible, now they get a heavy response for not giving the same chances to each youtuber around the world, and not only YouTube, all other partner companies are getting screwed.

We are all hungry for money just like your company, David .
