Today I-

Downloaded GSA Search Engine Ranker/Captcha Breaker Trials and used them to make a variety of about 140 verified backlinks (I used spun content & public proxies).

I sent these links to my Tier 2 site which is a Blogspot with 1 article on front page and an About Us page. There are 2 inner page links and 1 main page link to my Tier 1 site.

So, my question-

Am I doing everything correctly?
I have seen no page growth, probably because none of these links are indexed... how do I do this?
What can I do to improve? (i.e. additional software, methods, services, etc).

I don't have a lot of money, but please recommend both Free and Paid options to improve my SEO efforts.

Cheers- Hopeful

If you're doing it for yourself, take the extra time to make all your content hand-written and don't spin anything. A lot of people still use spinning but G is gonna crack down on spun material more and more with the next updates. It takes a lot more time but it's worth it, in my opinion.

Do not use spun content and play a fair game with the search engines.
Write original content and publish on high authority blogs.
Stay active in forums.
Stay active in social bookmarking sites and social sharing sites.
Do not forget to submit your site to the search engines.
Finally, if all this looks a difficult task to you then hire a good SEO expert.

When you say don't spin anything do you literally mean "anything"? I currently hand write all content on the Money site (AKA highest value) and any links that are Tier 1, but I can't wrap my head around how much time it would take to manually do everything that GSA is doing for me. Thoughts?

I just wanted to clarify... when people talk about social bookmarking do they mean creating profiles on sites like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc?

Thanks guys, any more help would be really appreciated.

Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Linkedin are Social sharing sites and a webmaster should be active in these sites.
Additionally the webmaster should also not forget about sites such as diigo, digg, tumblr, stumbleupon, instapaper, friendfeed, reddit, delicious etc.

Can anyone answer my question about indexing links, because I think that is the main issue here?

Thoughts on that statement?

never index your tier 1, build on tier 2 and index the tier 2.
So that it will auto index your tier 1 when it's flow down the link juice.

spinning the hell of text and making silo spam blogs , all that is old news google picked up on those thinng a long time ago

Some replies are really funny!

Spun contents blah blah blah...

Ok here...

I spun 16 articles of 1500+ words each and made a scheduled posting on blogger for link building. Scheduled to publish the post between 4 to 12 days per post. Added some amazon links and bidvertiser banners and IT RANKS between 3-9 spots of first page dancing for about 14 months now. It fell its rank 4 months ago but it sprang back without doing anything as I'm not too concerned with its ranking.

Please do things things that people don't want you to do and learn what is really going on.

SEO is not for everybody lest you try things out... it's called EXPERIMENTATION.

So do your stuff and do first tier links manually. I don't even do 2nd tier backlinking but ranking are pretty decent.

Take care and do your homework.. :-)

If you spin your articles properly, i dont see any problem.

The point is properly, not one button spin.

You should make your blog (there should be more than one blogger, like wordpress, blog.com, weebly, etc.) a very active blog to be honest, with lots of content, it doesn't have to be all text, you can throw in some pictures with alt-tags, some relevant videos as well.

Then start linking to it slowly and increase the pace of the linking process until it goes on 100% all the time.

I'm not saying that spun content doesn't work right now, but that's only for now. You don't want to only make money today, you want to make money today, tomorrow and the next day too. That said, G has already shown that they are starting to crack down on spun content and as their algorithms get more and more complex, I believe that spun content will get slapped and so will the sites they are pointing to if it's obviously being used for backlinks.

People should do whatever they think is best, but in my opinion, using spun content is going to hurt you in the next few updates that G makes.

If you are on a time limit and a budget use spun content. Churn and burn, make money fast, and then use it to invest in better quality. Do whatever works, because nothing last forever with Google.

the Big G "crack down on spun material " !?!?!?!?! lol, just try to use their translator program and see how much they sucks , there is not way they can find spun articles.

You keep telling yourself that brother. G's entire future rests on being able to provide searchers with the best search results possible, and they have an almost unlimited amount of money to pay for technology, research etc. to make sure that it happens. Look how much stricter the algorithms and general ranking factors have got within the last 5 years, and you can seriously say that G won't be able to detect spun material?? All they need is to create some type of proprietary grammar detection that would pick up articles using improper grammar, wording etc. Even if the main idea with such technology was to rank sites based on their overall quality, and including grammar, spelling etc. in this overall rating, they will definitely be able to detect spun material at some point down the road. Unless you have an excellent spinner and you take the proper care to manually edit things here and there so everything flows properly with each and every article, you're gonna get fucked eventually.

But if you're going for fast money, or "churn and burn" sites then all of this is irrelevant anyway.

It depends on how you use it. I'm doing spintext, but using high quality text with superspinning (word/sentence/paragraph). Each version does have to make sense and you can not do 10.000 postings with 1 single spintext. If you set GSA SER to do it slow and steady and only on high PR sites (I'm usually doing PR2+), it can very well work out as a quality campaign.

GSA even has a great macro system that allows you to put your links on exactly the position you want it to be (so you dont have to rely on the "if you liked this article visit my site" standard crap).

I wouldn't recommend to spam crappy spun text, especially not in Tier1. But if used properly, i think GSA Ser + Spintext can work out pretty well, even as quality campaigns.

Once that "big spun update" comes, than you can expect the huge number of Web 2.0 sites to be hit in general as well. Because Google knows very well that Web 2.0 right now is a way bigger problem than spun content.

And who was naive enough to spun content on his money site and that site is not for churn and burn that one has a problem.

For GSA you need the indexer also, and I recommend private proxies. Also, you'll need to either create your own verified list or get one from somewhere, the standard list sucks.

You'll also need much more links, and many more properties.
