We use Wordpress for our websites and we also use Yoast SEO plugin.

In some cases, for some of our pages, we know in advance that we will change the SERP title/description into something else in the future.

    For example:
It is now monday. On saturday, a new update will be posted on our page about 'Groceries'. The SERP title is currently 'Buy your Groceries from $20,00 online'. Yet, on Saturday, we know the prices will change, so we will change this (on friday/saturday) into 'Buy your Groceries from $15,00 online'.

Is there a way to already plan this on monday and have the SERP title/description changed automatically on friday/saturday?

From an SEO standpoint, Google will almost never update those titles and meta descriptions in the SERPS fast enough to reflect the "new" information on the correct days (based on the timeframe you've suggested). I would leave the titles and metas alone and go with the lowest prices and say "as low as $xx.xx"

Not as fast as he wants it to (within hours or even 24 hours). And if he keeps requesting crawling for just updated meta + titles G is eventually gonna move his requests to the bottom of the line due to him basically abusing the crawling request feature. Remember, it costs G money to crawl your site. If you keep requesting crawling for "small" largely irrelevant changes G is eventually going to tell him to bugger off.

Its not possible to get these changes done automatically... since its going to take few min ..always good to do it manually ..:)
