Pinterest Monetization Methods Discussion

Any internet marketer with experience in social marketing knows that Pinterest is one of the biggest goldmines on the internet.
Now although this is a known fact there are still many people struggling with how exactly they can monetize their pinterest traffic.
What I've found to be the easiest method, but possibly not the most reliable, is using adsense.
Adsense is fantastic in the sense that it can target ads based on the specific keyword on a page that a visitor is viewing.
The best placement for adsense ads has been above and below posts with a theme that is mobile optimized.
I've also tried amazon and affiliate ads but these have been to no avail.

What I want to know is, have you tried something different with pinterest?
Have you been able to have success with amazon, affiliate sales,clickbank, or CPA offers?

I hope that anyone with experience could possibly enlighten us! Thanks​

Woman fashion niche is great to promoted at Pinterest. You must diligent uploading a lot of images to your Pinterest account daily for getting a lot of sales. Amazon is recommended to monetizing with Pinterest.

@Himanuzo, how many images do you post on Pinterest per account and how many of them actually lead to amazon? Do you have them lead to a product on your own site or a category of the product?

I have just focused on ecommerce. But the more unique and hard to find the items are in a popular niche the better. Also for SEO Domain Authority stacking plays a huge role. With all the source material pinterest marketers have, I think many forget to syndicate their pictures on other authority sites and point everything back to their money site. Twitter creates good ranking signals as does YouTube. The header banner for ecommerce needs to have a head turning deal on a popular product. Free giveaways also work well. This can be for a discount coupon, VIP membership, etc. And putting a phone number on the top of the website is also a big deal.

I can't imagine why these wouldn't be important for a Amazon affiliate site either. Ezra Firestone offers some good tips for ecommerce sites in general, home page design, category pages, product pages, etc.

I haven't been nearly as consistent or as aggressive as I should be with pinterest marketing. But I can say who dont know you will easily make orders over $100 with you, if they can communicate with you before or AFTER the sale. On the product pages the more pictures and transparency you can offer, will increase sales dramatically.

I don't know if you can scrape the reviews and repost them on Amazon Affiliate site product pages, but somehow the website needs to convey they are far from your first customer.
