you mean like funny pictures ? If so that niche is probably not going to get you many click thrus. I have seen the funny pic, had a laugh ,and I can see 100's more on the board I am already at. Why do I need to click thru ?

That can be said about all niches then. Why do I get more traffic from fb even though there are so many pics on my page its because people like humor sites.

We are talking about pinterest and in terms of clickthrus humor is not one of the best niches to get traffic from pinterest. You may have found diffferent. I have not

You get an invite to pin on them. From either a board member or, in the case of most of the bigger boards, the board owner.

Does anyone know if there's a way to make your profile picture look crisp instead of looking blurry? I've tried saving my profile picture for "web and devices" in PS and that seems to work with images of people but won't work with logos.

How did you receive this message (i.e. email, pop up)? I ask because one of my accounts is ghosted without receiving any note.

As far as what you should do, it's best to start multiple accounts using proxies and do your best to keep them under the radar. You can also contact Pinterest customer support and ask why you received the message. They may (or may not) give a reason.

Hey guys OP here.I lost my Pinterest account about 3 months ago.I was up to 8000 followers which were real and had 15,000 pins all directing to my multiple blogs.Even though my account was banned I still have pins on pinterest that got like 1200 repins or more.Im still getting traffic from those pins and make $75-100 a week.

One thing I noticed is Pinterest is a lot harder to work now because of new filters that help fight spam.I haven't messed with Pinterest much except playing around with a old account I have and I noticed its way harder to get followers now.

My advice is to try different things and see what works.I do know what would work,but it would take one hell of a coder to make it.But that's for another future thread.Ive been thinking about putting my imacros back to work and see if I can pull in some sales,but not sure if its worth itIf I do I'll post a new thread to document my progress.

If anything we will learn the current limitations of Pinterest.I can tell you "Group Boards Don't Work" The reason you don't want to join group boards is this.Pay attention.

What guys do is make a group board.Then they buy a bunch of fake followers to make the board look popular.Then they "con" I mean invite you to there so called popular board.They do this hoping to get a bunch of real followers.But here the problem.All the pins posted on that board is full of Spam.If you have a decent account and join one of these group boards,just go ahead and throw that account out and start over because your account will be tagged as Spam.

Don't get me wrong..There might be a very small handful of legit group boards.But the chance of you getting invited to it isn't going to happen.

Sorry to be so blunt,but its the truth about group boards and anybody who disagrees with it are the ones making these worthless accounts.So many people on here are looking for group board invites and wont put in the hard work to make a good account.

You only need one account,pin stuff in your niche and follow real people..Thats it..The rest is staying under the Pinterest radar.Do that and in about 1 month you will start seeing some income.Also don't be afraid to promote higher dollar items like $45 - $150

"Group Boards Don't Work"

I'm becoming more and more convince of this tidbit of knowledge as I continue with Pinterest.

Right now I'm being followed by quite a lot of new people everyday but most of their boards are about fashion and I'm not in that niche. Not that I can do anything about it, but should I be concerned about this? Can followers in different niches convert into legit traffic or are these people just spammers looking for a follow back?
