Hey Guys, apologies for the format, line breaks don't want to work right now :? anyways... Just wanted to give everyone a heads up about Pinterest bans since this sub-forum is growing very fast. Pinterest just pulled one of my accounts for 'spammy/sexual content.' My content was all fashion related items, not sexual or spammy at all. I was botting on a private proxy, one account per proxy, and not being too aggressive. My settings were: ~170 pins a day, scraped, with 60% of them with my URL in the source and 40% of them with my URL in the description. ~80 repins a day. A few likes and follows every couple of days. I believe the ban was because of the quantity of URLs I was pushing out but its hard to be 100% sure. What I learned from my experience: - Pinterest will not issue a you warning, a password reset, ect. - Pinterest will tell you your account is suspended when you try to log in but they will have removed all your content when you go to your Pinterest URL. - Pinterest allows you to dispute your suspension but is unresponsive with emails. - Pinterest will not allow you to resign up with the email you used on your account that was suspended. - This is ALL at Pinterest's digression (obviously) however, don't think you are exempt because you adhere to their posting guidelines, if they want you out, you're out! No questions asked. Notable: I have other Pinterest accounts, one in the recipe niche (cause that's what everyone does on Pinterest right!?) with the same settings, but with no proxy, a going a little lighter on the URLs. This account has had no challenges. Happy Pinning!
