Honestly, it depends on your skill level and what you're trying to create, but Canva's ease of use is a game changer if you're not a design pro.

Obviously photoshop its way more complete and deep if you want to have details or wanna do precise things. Canva for me its to do a quick logo or something but you should def go with photoshop
 
Canva if you're a beginner, and you want to do simple editing, or layout of pics and text.

But hands down, Photoshop for more complex tasks, for layering, editing etc.
 
For me, Canva is better than Photoshop, as it is more user-friendly. Canva also has a wide library of templates which are optimized for various social media platforms. Canva is web-based and no need for installation of any heavy software.
 
Photoshop for professional
Canva for amateur
