Hey guys!

I know a method of verifying an AC account through phone. I have test run 7 AC accounts and voila! all accounts got verified! So i'm planning to offer phone-verified AC account service to the BHW community. I just want some info from you guys on how much would I offer per account? It seems nobody has posted this service here at bhw.

I was actually thinking of starting a similar service since I have an idea about how to get past the AC phone verification as well.
PM me and we will see if its the same method.
Anyway, I thought $5 per verification is fair.
 
Do you think for AC phone verified account there will be large customers?

$5, i guess that's fair enough unless someone here is offering a lower rate. Is it reasonable to have different rates for existing AC account and fresh account? Existing account might have pending payments from AC.
 
$5 is pretty cheap. I would go for $10. Seems like a lot at first, but it really isn't. Consider how much potential money you're allowing these people to make ($600).

Ordered one ac account from him, payment was refunded as i was informed the phone verification system at ac was done.

Will try again once normal service is resumed.

I've been charging $7 for providing one, $12 for 2. Not that many people actually need the service, as BH folks come up with multiple routes to accomplish verification. Sometimes AC goes down for maintenance, which holds up the process for a few hours.
 
Is there a particular reason why people are paying to have their accounts verified? I verified mine this morning by creating a K7 phone number based in the US. I then retrieved the code from voicemessage. Btw I'm an Australian, but signed up to AC as an American citizen.

Total cost=free :)
 
Babylon 5, forgive my lack of knowledge, but I would appreciate it a lot if you could help me to go through the steps needed to create a K7 phone number and retrieve the code from a voice message. I am living in the UK.
 
Nobody knew it was possible to retreive a K7 message in time to enter the code. If possible, well that puts me out of that business, at least until AC notices a whole bunch of Seattle area phone verifications!
 
use this to get verified (bueno dot com) , They offer free US phone numbers.

Yes they dont have any problems but you wont get upfront payments, you will only get money when your article has 1000 views.

They'll say you should fill out a w-9, BUT you can email a request to re-try the phone verification (say your phone didn't ring in time for some reason). They may manually reset the account after a few days so you can retry.
