There is a debate that rages over the effectiveness of Angelas (Angela Edwards) and Pauls (Paul Johnson) Links. In the main they are member based sites that allow you to create a profile, on which, there will be an opportunity to create backlinks to your site using your chosen anchor text. The remit for these links is that they will be on inside pages of sites with a PR of not less than 4 and all links at the time of publication will be do-follow. However, the page where your link will reside will probably have no PR.
What makes me laugh is that people question the effectiveness of these links, so here's my 2 cents.
OK, so the links reside on pages with no PR but lets look at some of the highly trusted alternatives.
Article Marketing - Your article will go on an inside page of a high PR article site the page itself will have no PR so there is no real difference apart from the fact you have to write an article worthy of being published.
Press Release - Pretty much the same as above
Asking Webmaster for Links - Time consuming, demoralising and a conversion of about 2 in 100. You can increase your conversion by offering a reciprocal link in return but unless you triangulate your links (meaning you need two sites or more), in the eyes of ‘G' who penalise reciprocal links, the whole process is hard to justify.
Blog Commenting & Forum Posts - You may get links on high PR pages but you have got to get past dreaded comment mediator authorisation, which, in most cases means your comment has to be well thought out and appropriate, making it a time consuming process. Furthermore, it's well documented that ‘G' has devalued links from forum and blog contributions / comments, on the ground they are being spammed to shit by people using XRummer and PRStorm
Submitting to Directories - Apart from DMOZ which G seems to love but is nigh-on impossible to get listed on. The rest of the directories have largly been devalued in the algorithm, listing is time consuming and is of little intrinsic value.
Social Networking / Bookmarking - links will all be on inside pages of high PR sites or will be no-follow bit.ly links. I've nerver heard of a page hitting the top of the serps for a competitive keyword through bookmarking/Social Networking alone.
Web2.0 & Web2.0 Linkwheels - well isn't this just the same as Angelas and Pauls Links? Your just creating links on inside pages of high PR authority sites.
[FONT="]I could go on, these are great links. The trick is to create them, cultivate them and then spam the shit out of them... SPAM your links not your site!!!
By the way I'm interested in the service, please PM me when you have a slot available.
