I always suggest a minimum of 100 upvotes for any large subreddits but it all depends on the quality of your post and whether it will be naturally upvoted or not.

I purchased 20 upvotes last night and it said it would be up by the 28th. It was the 29th yesterday. This morning, the 30th, I checked the progress and it says it won't be up until the 1st of January. However, my order is still there so I'll get 20 upvotes on a old post that won't get anywhere.
