I'm an idiot, its a paypal subscription. Not sketchy.
You guys need to work on the features and bugs. I'm unable to clear my searches, so I have thousands of keywords all on my search page. It bugs out and auto searches randomly when I'm switching pages from Research to Difficulty. While the results seem accurate, the system is beta status at best. Sorry.

I've been a subscriber for months and love this tool. There is a good point made above. when I switch from "Rank tracker" to "Research" it will recheck the last keyword. If this could be prevented it would be great. A slight annoyance really, but probably easy to fix.

Everything good so far, but I noticed something.
The keyword competition score in the tool is different from the competition score when using the browser plugin. For example, I have 20 keyword competition in the tool for a keyword, and 32 on the browser plugin. This is a big difference. Why is this happening and what is the safest metric to trust?

Hey Jesse it's not re-checking the last keyword, it's just loading your last data back to the page. Sometimes it may take a second but there is no credits being used.
Hey hit me up through PM and i'll get you set with a lifetime license.
We use the first page results to calculate the competition score. Searching from different locations will show different results. The web interface uses a general proxy for the entire country. This should give you a broader view of how difficult the keyword is throughout the entire country selected. The browser addon will show results specific to you and your location. So your location may be a bit harder than the rest of the country.
Also it may not just be your location it could also be the results Google is showing for you specifically. Google has really started catering results to the particular person. For example when I search "Keyword Research Tool" into Google, Keysearch shows up at the top of the 2nd page. Thats not the real rank for everyone, it's usually in the 70's but Google knows I always click on it so it has it ranked higher for me personally.
All in all the web interface is the more accurate score when it comes to true difficulty across the board. The browser plugin is better for local specific results since the web interface isn't always as accurate for very local searches. Hope this helps clear things up!
