I was looking for this exact kind of plugin but my question is would adsense allow ads on a video? I think they have rule about ads placement not being on or close to a video but I could be wrong. If I'm right, what other ad networks would be a good alternative to display on videos. I have a site with lots of video which is kind of has adult materials and looking to add ads.

Hi, as the plugin wasn't built just to be used with AdSense and for that reason you would need to check the current T&C's that AdSense has about placing AdSense ads in other peoples videos. As their T&C could change from time to time if I said in post that it was ok to use AdSense ads on other people's videos but a month later that was no longer the case then some people may only ready this post and they would be following incorrect/outdated information.
The plugin works with pretty much any ad network and you can use your own ads to promote your own products/services etc Ideally you want to be looking at ads that use banner style placements as these display well inside videos/
