Also I'd appreciate any suggestions and advice on how much and how fast we should be doing this... I most definitely don't want to get penalized by Google for being too aggressive, so I'm more concerned with the long-term results here and hence a long-term business relationship

To be frank, you will not get a sudden increase of visitors.
But i am sure our submission will bring you organic visitors and good credibility to your website.

The list of site will not be provided before the order for many reasons. But after completing the order, a detailed submission report will be sent as a proof of submissions. All high rated sites like stumbleupon, digg, delicious will be included in the submissions.

The detailed report contains social bookmark site url, PR, email id, username, password and approval link.

I would like to place an order, but have a question.

If you only write 1 article, yet submit it to 100 article directories, won't that actually end up only hurting you for duplicate content?

Doesn't the same concept apply to Social bookmarking? If you submit 300 social bookmarks with the same title and description, is this really going to help much in the SERPS rankings?

For this No..it's all good
but i dont know about article directories because they usualy refuse duplicate (like ezine)
