A number of you have asked me to make a longer video so you can see the performance of Expired Domain Miner.

In the new video, I show you how I found a quality DA 20+ domain within 15 minutes of starting the crawler.

You can watch the video here.

It is much faster than Xenu plus it integrates whois domain availability checking and getting moz metrics.

Yes, Expired Domain Miner can crawl any site

The op is the exact email i got some time ago xD

Anyway, i have some questions:

1) How do we import the seeds? As the root domain and the softwares mines all pages? Or do we import as individual pages like domain.com/some-page ?

I can scrape millions of urls daily and have some powerful dedicated servers so thats why im asking.

2) Do you offer any refund guarantee?

3) Is there any support if something doesnt work as stated?

I have been quite interested in giving this a shot so please let me know the answers.

still having a 2 day VIP trial ? (pm me if you have)

Sent you a PM for a trial!

In answer to the other questions

1. You can use root domains or other urls.

2. Yes, full refund within 2 days if you are not satisfied

3. Yes, support is provided via email so use the support form on the website.

can you send me a sample of domains you can find by this tool

Are you still giving away trials? Please hit me up with one!

Domain Samples and Trials Sent. Let me know if I missed anyone.

Review!

So I bought the 2 days trial pack and this is what I got:

cXpxZS9

Though the number of domains seem great, the problem is not finding good domains, but quality from all the scraped domains. THe tool was run in a powerful dedicated server at 50 threads. The tool wasnt run for 48 hours as the first day I had to find seed lists to run.

Anyway, I have to say this tool has potential THOUGH it's not worth the $198 IMHO as it needs several things to be added. (Already spoke with op)

Anyway, these are things that could be fixed to get better potential:

1) You need a moz account. OP doesn't mention it, but without one, basically this tool is useless as you won't be able to export the URLs.
2) The instructions weren't exact. Aka, this means there are readme files that say "go and edit abc.txt file", but you go and only find xyc.txt file.
3)Also, importing URLs is quite hard. Seriously, if I wasn't as technical and a coder, it would have taken me a LOT of time to figure things out.
4) I think the tool can't process big amounts of URLs. I imported in the correct format 10k URLs, and as you can see in the pic, it only recognised 4,998 even though all 10k URLs were unique. Importing URLs is a pain in the ass as sometimes there are URLs that can't be processed well as they are in a xml file. Also, the 17 hours I run this tool, I didn't run unique internal URLs, but 10k unique root domains as the tool was throwing me errors when I imported 10k+ internal urls like domain.com/page1 etc.
5) Even with these points, the tool has tremendous potential but right now it's not worth the $198/m. If the op could fix these problems and add some others I already pmed her, I would gladly pay $297+ every month for this.

I really think I could be a long term customer for OP, if these errors were corrected as I really think this has tremendous potential :)

Hey OP, shoot me a pm whenever you fix these errors and I will buy your tool any time! :)

Hey Royserpa,

Thanks for your great feedback. I'm working right now to fix the issues you mentioned!

Here is what I am planning to do:

1. Yes, you need a Moz api account - this is mentioned in the Installation Video. You can get a free Moz api account which works just fine. Moz is needed so you can get DA and PA to evaluate domains. The Installation Video walks you through the process of entering your Moz credentials. I've added this to the FAQ page already under What Do I Need to Run Expired Domain Miner so the need for a free Moz api account is more clear.

2. The configuration file mentions a Seeds file but the file is actually called crawl-list.txt. I'll change the language to make it consistent. Let me know if there is something else.

3. Changing the import of the urls is the first thing on the development list. I'll let you know when this is done.

4. I've processed over 10,000+ seeds without an issue. I'll have to do some testing to replicate this error but it is something that can be fixed when making the import easier.

5. I'll shoot Royserpa a PM when done so he can test it out!

Hi Lynn,

I wanted to buy a 2-day trial, but at the moment there is an error when i try to pay:

"PayPal requires cookies to be turned on for many of its features. Please turn on cookies inj your internet browser. Then, go back and check out again with PayPal."

I tried it with three different computers, and everywhere i get the same error message. Cookies where turned on in every of these computers, so I guess it is an error on the website...

Would love to learn more about this tool, could you please send me a trial or/and domain samples?

Thanks a lot!

I've fixed the paypal issue so you can make a purchase and those who have made purchases should have received the software.

You can order here.

Tempted to try although I'm not confident how bug free and noob friendly your software is.

Will a free MOZ account definitely do to work with this application without any issues?

Yes, the free Moz account works just fine. This is what I use.

For those of you curious about what expired domains the crawler can find, I created a thread for a beta service for custom crawling and the beta testers were very positive. Go to the bottom of the thread, to see the reviews.

Here is also a new video showing Domain Miner finding 140,000 links in 1 minute.

For those asking about the difference between Expired Domain Miner and Xenu here is a speed test video.

[h=3]See Domain Miner find 253,327 urls in 1 minute compared to Xenu's 10,655[/h]
