2000 words in 5 days (3 working days) at the quality provided is amazing, I would struggle to research the topic thoroughly and produce it to that quality myself.

Clearly well researched, even at first glance you can tell that the author understands the topic, and has a set structure in mind for the article to come.

Gave 2 completely different niches to work with, both have relevant sub headings with paragraphs, examples, and the KW density is safe.

For a true test I may add them to fairly fresh domains to see if the statement "Authority content that ranks on its own" is actually true

I hope you do decide to let the content rank before you send backlinks! It's always a good idea to do that anyway because you can verify that your on-page metrics are ok and then fully measure the power of any/all backlinks sent afterwards.

Sure; part of the Google Hummingbird update focuses on 'Conversational Search' (i.e. terms like "How Do I..." and "Where Can I Buy..."). We optimise content for Hummingbird by providing answers to these questions.

For example, if your keyword is "buy a new iPad", we would work in a sentence such as "take a look at our top iPad-buying tips, helping you find the biggest discounts and the best deals". The "helping you find" part directly answers the request "how can I find?". We might also use an FAQ style with sub-headings such as "How Can I Find iPad Discounts?".

In addition, we analyze your keywords using LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing") techniques and naturally populate content with lots of long tail keywords and related terms that demonstrate authority in your niche.
