So I signed up and I must say that it's strange that you don't know in advance what the packages are and how many links you're gonna get (you see it only after you create an account and before payment).

As someone mentioned here it does sound a bit pricey for what you get though seems very varied. I guess it depends on the quality of their private network. I'll give it a shot for a couple of months on a site that did not have any backlinks work done on it and see how it goes.
 
As soon as V3 became available (literally seconds after it became available), I signed up. Right after I signed up, I received an email with the xmas discount coupon (xmas33). So fearing that I'd miss out on the discount, I signed up for another subscription immediately. I emailed them notifying them that I didn't get the discount notice until just after I signed up and wanted the discount subscription instead of the full price subscription and requested a refund for the initial sign-up. 5 emails later, I still haven't heard back from anyone. Don't understand why I can't get a response back. Based on the response I've gotten to a pretty simple request, I would not recommend signing up for this service. Pretty lame for a service that claims such a small limited sign-up.
 
WATCH out here the whole system is fcked up. One of the things I signed up for it their so called Special Ingredient links and you get 25 with my package and the have posted none. They just say they have propblems with it and have done so for past 3 weeks..............

SO BUYERS BEWARE - not made one difference in Serps for me for some easy keywords. Don't believe the hype.
 
Only 1 linktype from the 10 different ones are not functioning right now, the reason is because Google changed some GUI stuff and it requires alot of hassle to recode that part.
I can reimburse you for the links that werent created if you want, just contact support on the site.

And if you have bought the wrong package (for Swarm) ill refund you so you can buy the correct one no problem at all.
 
I'm a member of LA, but won't be using it for a bit. If anyone wants to test drive it for a month or two, please PM me.
 
I need some help from someone who is a current member of Linkaloha, I am a registered member of LA. I joined up at Christmas and went off for Xmas break for a few weeks and have only tried to get on about a week ago. Also had a systems crash of some sort and lost my password. Doesnt seem like a big deal, just click the link for a password reset. Unfortunately the reset email doesnt arrive. Sent them a message from the Contact Page on their website, no reply. Sent an email to the address that sent all of the confirmation emails for the account setup, still no reply. If someone does have access to the LA site and forums please advise them that I have submitted this post and ask them to get in touch. Cheers.

Thanks for helping out. I now have access to Linkaloha. Checked all of the email spam folders several times for emails so maybe it was getting blocked further up the line. I would have replied by PM but my newbie status limits use of PM. Also wanted to post here that issue is resolved.

So I signed up for the service on Dec 23 and so far I haven't seen results in terms of SERP movement.
I can see links and everything done on the report - just not making any affect on my site
 
I'm a member. When you login now it says it's shutting down and basically use at your own risk. No reasons given. I wasn't a big user but in limited tests it didn't help rankings at all so don't feel like you missed out on anything.
