I was playing with my VPS a couple of mins ago and I kept pushing it to it's limits...
I ran Scrapebox with 500 Threads using Fast Poster on a Level 3 VPS ($24.95). Yeah you heard it right. 500 THREADS !!
Result: 15K posted within just 9.49 mins.
Using 1 instance my Stats were as follows:
CPU Usage: ~ 1-5%
Memory Usage: ~44%
You can easily run 2-3 multiple instances of scrapebox on these small machines to submit to over 30-45K sites in less than 10 mins. That's a commendable speed.
My list is an old one from Oct 2012, so the success rate isn't that great. It gives usually 8K-9K success. Even if I reduce the thread count to just 30, I get the same number. So, running 500 threads is not to be blamed for the 50% success rate. If you have a FRESH, BRAND NEW list, you will have a much better success rate.
Now, you can have an AUTOMATED MACHINE that will be more powerful than any of your competitors. Blast your 1st tier for the whole day and earn a few million backlinks for your 1st tier. That's Blackhat Seo.

It depends how many projects / threads you intend to run simultaneously. I would start with a level 2 though.
Genuinely windows is using 380MB of RAM

Thought I'd chime in. Signed up about 3 hours ago after reading the reviews here. $12.95 is tough to beat for someone looking to run a single instance of Scrapebox and free up their system resources / bandwidth. Already up and running and it is ridiculously fast. At least, compared to the 2 previous providers I've used.

Is RDP enabled when the VPS is setup?
The company I currently use uses VNC for the initial login which is OK but since it uses Java, it's a huge pain and often doesn't load the first time without many security warnings. Being able to log directly in the first time with RDP will be great.
Also, can I edit the registry to prevent Windows Update? I find that those are not helpful for programs that need to run for long periods of time.
Looking forward to trying something new.

Hey,
Yes, the Remote Desktop Access is enabled by default. You are of course free to use / install any other way you please of course.
Dealing with the registry, yes you can modify it as far as you have the full administrator rights with no upper levels. However, you can disable the windows update directly through the control panel.
