I bought uBot Studio yesterday. I just want to say thanks to Seth for creating such a powerful tool and Lilly for being so quick to respond to my questions.

I have some criticism for the community however.

One of the enticing aspects of uBot Studio is the Bot Bank where other users can update and share bots with each other.

I feel that the members are holding back the program from it's full potential.

I understand that it takes time and brainpower to create an awesome bot. If we all shared our bots however we would all be doing more tasks faster.

It appears that lots of the members are interested in making money off each other instead of the rest of the world like uBot is intended.

So I encourage all you uBot members to go and make that Bot Bank even more awesome then it already is.

Then we can all get richer faster as a community.

Your experience is really useful to people, but I think you should come back to see what the software is like after a year of new features and bug fixes (Most of which happened a year ago, btw). PM me your username and i'll give you a free update to try it out now. (Updating only costs $9, of course).

I purchased the professional version of Ubot towards the end of last year.

Here is my experience:

It was quite buggy. Some bugs were fixed as updates came in but many were not. I felt like a beta tester, reporting bugs and walking their main coder through was quite time consuming which is money lost. Its quite frustrating with all the crashes. It wasn't my computer(s), ive ran them on 4 different machines (quad core, ssd drives, 16 gig ram) all with the same results.

Im not sure how the newer versions work as my updates ran out.

Im still vastly irritated with the updates thing, i paid 4 times as much as I have for this than I have for any other software. I can understand if it ran smoothly, but come on; when i pay half a k for software I expect it to be nearly bug free at the time of purchase; not after 2 years of paid updates... I was gona get a refund but was assured all my bugs would be fixed in the next updates. Well I was wrong.

I currently have a VPS and was wondering if I am able to run ubot bots on it.

I figured that I might need desktop emulation software on my VPS so I asked and they said that they didn't have it. Would I need desktop emulation?

Compiled bots should run fine on a vps! Make sure it has the right .net and the other requirements for UBot Studio - PM me if you need more info.

I have uBot for almost 5 months now. I haven't used it extensively yet but I have a need now that will push me to practice it so I'm going to spend at least 2 hours a day watching tutorials/experimenting. Very easy to use and very simple to understand.

The only problem I have is I still am able to post 1 post a day in their forums. I PM'd mods about it and no reply yet. That's the only knock I can give on the uBot Dev and community as a whole.

So... I've read all messages in these 7 pages, looks like this ubot is solid so far. Since y.o.u-t.ube fucked me up in the past few months and my income dropped by a few thousands in a month without using any bots, just plain old work. NOW, thx to YT, i will have to get this ubot and learn it gradually & fuck y.o.u-t.ube again where it really hurts this time!!!

When I purchased uBot it was through a promotion that also stated 9$/month updates. I just assumed I start getting billed for the updates once my initial 3 month free updates lapsed.
I see that this is not the case how do I signup for the discounted subscription to updates I was promised upon purchase.


NM I see it now in the control panel, maybe it was $5/month though I cant remember the promo.

Anyway $9 is not going to kill me, though I would ask that we get an update on when the nasty browser bug crash will be fixed.
