I saw your two samples and I quickly spoted that you have used watermarked images from other site.

I don't like it.

I used stock images on a site i dont plan to sell nor promote

I hope you not think that i would use that on a customer's site.
These are just to show how the magento system works flawless with promoting amazon affiliated products.
Each site has its own customization what i do with the buyers, sliders on the main page/articles/logo/footer links etc.

On clients sites i customize a lot more things, so this is just to show how the users are going to amazon when want to purchase something from the shop.
I remove all references from the theme to account/my cart/whishlist/ etc.
The stock photos arre just placeholders, i usually use the built in sliders linking to categories or articles.

Well the article service provider I see he posted in the thread .. Has so far proven to be junk.

First articles promised Monday night .. Tuesday... Thursday then 20 hours yesterday and now 20 hours today.

End result is still waiting for my site to be finished.

Despite this I did sell one item yesterday from the store.... So I know this will work .. Just the current turn around time is terrible.

We all do mistakes sometimes, and in that situation the most important thing is how to solve it and not make it anymore. Thus, I guarantee you that the problem in the communication has been fixed and that the articles will have a fixed TAT of 50h from now on, no exceptions for jaerehan clients

My site has been finished about 4-5 days now and from when I started this project --- I have sold 3 items already .. For roughly $10 profit to me.

Have not done any Seo on the site myself just to see how effective the ops included services will be.

The OP is a pleasure to work with and more importantly he works with you to give you exactly what you want ... So it's not like here this is it see you later .. You want something slightly different it's no problem for him to assist you - I really appreciate this type of service provider.

About hosting, what would be fine specs? I read not shared hosting, so ... VPS is ok? Dedi? RAM/HD needed?

Hey

The prices updates on a cron job, its usually 6 hour as standard, but can be set up to 12 hour until you start receive good traffic. Its just required by amazon in their terms for the affiliates to have the prices always up to date.
The products that are goes "out of stock" on amazon are stay in the database of 100s or 1000s of products, but doesn't display in the shop. They can be deleted with 3 click in batches.
New products are added by keywords/brands/asin etc. when the shop is loaded up.
Nah not dedicated server.. one of my buyer had a shared hosting which died almost when i installed magento, and then bought a VPS, for about ~$45 a month... and it can handle another 10-20 sites and easy to upgrade if needed. Its just needs some dedicated memory when creating the cache.

Ok i maybe confused you a little

There is a database of products of the site. Those that are out of stock on amazon, are not shown on the site.

When the site is being set up, i load it up for you with 500-1000 products. Later you can do that yourself, i will show you how, and load as many products as you want, into new categories that you make etc.

Here is two, you can see how the customers are redirected to amazon when they want to buy something. Everything else is customizable, so if you wish, i can completly remove the my account/whishlist links etc. and the layout can be different too.
