Okay, I chatted with Dn100 on Skype today and long story short I ordered a second 1-shot package just to test the service out. He's a great guy and took the time to answer all my questions (however inane they were). I'm really looking forward to some SERP increases, so we'll see how it goes.

i received a review copy and i think i'm review copy #3 because the others don't look like my site.

I gave them a main keyword with 8,100 exact global searches. I was on the fifth page of google when i gave it to them and now i'm on the second page. This is a keyword i hadn't worked on in months and months. They started the work 7 days ago and dn100 said it was going to be a few more weeks before all the drip fed links are sent out so i'm expecting some more movement. They sent a detailed and organized report of the work done so far. i will update again when i see the full effect of the package.

i got my report on 20th jan. No ranking change on 21st jan. But today

just wanted to post back to this thread the results with a three day post submission report.

Keyword 1 rank: 18 (+4)
keyword 2 rank: 19 (+1)

keep in mind that no other link building to this site is taking place. Slow, but stable increases are highly desired as they appear more natural and throw up no flags.

I will report back later with future results.

It's difficult to put out an honest opinion, as people will obviously believe we are biased as we offer this as a service... however we haven't really noticed the effects of the recent updates and deindexing, and we believe it is because we didn't rely too heavily on 1 network.

From what we have read and looked into, those who dropped their ranks heavily were those who used ALN/BMR/ELN alot, such as daily postings etc. Unfortunately, the power of these networks were also so good, people became complacent/lazy and didn't really diversify their backlink profiles.

I've read some posts on forums where people have regained their ranks, others are still down etc, but losing several hundred/thousands of ALN links (for example) will without question affect your rankings, and if you had no other real links to prop your site up, it is like starting all over again.

I still use the networks for my sites, for offline clients sites, and we also have clients who have been with us for around 8 months and have reported no ill effects.

So to answer your question more directly Do I believe our service still work? (and services of a similar nature of course) - Yes I do. However using 1 type of link is ALWAYS going to affect you at some point in the future, so my recommendation is to never just rely on 1 service or 1 link - there are plenty of other link building methods which you should ALWAYS use alongside any service you purchase.
