I think it is good to include the follow features:

1. I want to be able to set at the plugin setting page the percentage of user to skip and/or maximum amount of likes for each days for the site/each page.
2. I want to be able to set at the plugin setting page the fb users to skip (me and my editors)
3. It is wisely to skip also logged wp site users (admin etc).
4. I want to be able to set at the plugin setting page to skip ALL users from facebook (only post likes for visitors from Google/Bing/Yahoo or direct traffic).
5. I want to be able to set at the plugin setting page option for plugin to post likes not for the first clicked link at first visited page but for the link clicked on second visited page.

I'd like to add one to this list. I don't know if it's possible, but it be extremely effective if we could set the actual wording that appears on the wall.

I bought, this today but haven't gotten it working. sent a ticket.

I have a question.. For instance, I post a category link from my blog on twitter, instead of the homepage link, and somebody clicks the category link. Would their share still register and post when they click around?

When a 'like' is posted the message that appears is decided by fb as it is taken from the sites title etc. There is now way of making a different message appear on the wall.

It may be possible with the FB share system but not with the "like" system.

I will make sure you ticket is dealt with asap.

Thanks,

Shez, thanks! I'll wait on the ticket response.

When the visitor of your site clicks a link, the 'like' that is posted will be for the URL of the page that they are currently on.

If someone is on your category page and they click a link to your home page, the plugin will post a 'like' for the category page.

If someone is on an individual post and they click a link to your home page, the plugin will post a 'like' for the post they were on when they clicked the link.

Does that make sense?

Thanks,

Shez

Oh ok yes that makes sense, so it doesn't matter what page was their entry page correct?

Yes, it does matter what their entry page is. The plugin will post a 'like' for the page/post that they are on when they click a link in that page/post.

Let's say someone arrives at you home page. This is their entry page. If they click a link for your archives/categories/another post etc - the plugin will post the 'like' for your home page as that was where they were when they clicked a link ON your site.

I know this can sound confusing, I have made three attempts at writing this so it makes sense :)

Does this make sense now?

Thanks,

Shez

Ok I have not tested this plugin so if this does bypass the confirm to like then great. I'm just warning other users about it because likejacking is against Facebook TOS and I feel customers should be aware of the risks in using it. As friends of mine have received C&D's for likejacking.

So instead of offering a solution to a problem that doesn't work you ask the mods to remove a customer who couldn't get the plugin to work from the thread so that you don't look bad? That's great business. The plugin DOES NOT work, and never did work from day 1. You are saying that it is suppose to automatically like your fan page when a user who is logged into facebook is clicking around on random pages on your website, that's not the case. From what support said, they HAVE to click the like button. I suggest to anyone reading this thread to not purchase this plugin because it does not work.

Works for me: http://gyazo.com/00343203ba55554c722c428d37ab90ce

I never get facebook likes. So getting traffic from there means someone is liking it. I went from 518 likes (I think 450-500 were paid) to 570 likes today. The only thing that confused me which was finally clarfied in the post above is I thought the link posted to the walls would be the links they are clicking on, not the link of the current page. I just hope the whole not popping up a confirm box is true since there's really no way for me to verify.

For those wondering, I did not follow the instructions for installing the facebook code in the readme. I just kept the Digg Digg floating bar installed which I guess is good enough. Double check to see if your page source has a whole block of encrypted text, that's the TheyLikeMe plugin code.

If you want, PM me to help troubleshoot, I can't believe there are so many people who can't get this working.

Hi,

Thanks for confirming you haven't tested the plugin. Yes, the plugin is a blackhat tool but this is a blackhat forum.

Your original message was stating that this plugin didn't work and that the code for it is freely available even though you don't own a copy of this plugin. That was pretty unfair really but I do appreciate you making it clear that you don't have a copy of this plugin and that you have not used it.

Could you clear things up about your statement of the code for this plugin being the same as the code which was freely available somewhere on the internet.

Thanks,

Shez

I have removed those posts as Tymillz did point out that they were unfair. I will have a search through BHW and try to find the thread and I will PM you. I think it should be made clear about the risks involved though. And I will try to get around to testing the plugin sometime in the near future.

Ok, so let me see if I "mis-understand" how this plugin works. You place the PRO version of the plugin on your site. In the URL setting of the admin area, you place the link of your fan page. When a user is on your site, and also logged into facebook, and they click around on the site, the URL of the fan page you placed in the settings should "secretly" get liked? Is this correct yes or no?

Ok, as you're aware, your refund has been processed, your license for the plugin has been cancelled and I have explained that I am not going to deal with you regarding this plugin for the fact of your foul language used towards me.

I don't have to take that from anyone, either online or face to face.

I'm sure you can appreciate that.

Again, please refrain from posting on my BST thread.

Thanks,

Shez

This is a blackhat tool - after all, we are in a forum called 'blackhat world'.

With blackhat/greyhat tools there is always an element of risk involved and should you feel that risk outweighs the benefits then I would advise you not to use those kinds of tools.

FB may have built in defenses but this plugin does not trigger them.

Thanks,

Shez

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I am afraid a Facebook FIS footprint is around the corner for this. What fuzzy algorithms are you using?

How about Edgerank, will any user ever see these posts?

This likeaboss guy is a serious tool, I can't believe some people don't get how it works. Just watch the video once and it will answer these simple questions. This plugin looks pretty sweet though, I'm looking forward to checking it out.

These likes are NOT linked to, or associated with, your fb account in anyway. The likes are posted on other users walls and the likes point back to your website.

You don't even need to have a fb account or fan page to use this plugin ;)

I just want to make it clear that using this plugin will in no way associate your fb account or fan page with it. As I said, you don't even need to have a fb account to use this plugin.

dont think this has been asked previously, so what i wanted to know was whats the score if i have a fb account associated with the website that ive installed your jacker on?

in fairness, im not expecting you to know because at the en of the day only fb are likely to have the answer to that one, but i suppose what im asking is do you think it advisable to switch off any links between my own wp site and my fb account until ive hit a number of fb likes that im satisfied with?

to give you more of an insight, ive got a few domains im intending to rent out to local businesses once ive got the serp's presence im looking for and this plugin might be a useful way of getting more credibilty for the websites, but i wouldnt want to jeopardise the associated fb accounts (its no big deal for me to 'unplug' existing fb accounts / not create fb accounts for sites that dont yet have them)
