You really need a video showing the actual plugin. I would have brought it right away. Regardless I'm still going to buy it since there is a 60 day period to test it.

You mean a video like the one on the page where you buy the plugin from? :)

http://netbomber.com/theylikeme/BHWindex.html

No, I meant actually setting it up to show how "easy" it is. It will also show the kind of options users have. It will convert better for you.

I have opened a support ticket regarding removing my facebook code, can you take a look at it?

Thanks.

I was thinking to buy this product, but took the time to read everything in the thread.

Cliffs:
* Many users have problems installing the plugin and making it work. However, there is a support team always answering in 24 hours. Users still find it difficult to set it up.
* Most of the users report the tool to be running and working everything as described.
* Some things were not mentioned when the thread was released:
- Limitation to only 20 websites, and as of now no option to increase this
- Later released PRO version which the seller claims to be a different product, discount available for buyers of the initial version.
* The seller is not in the programmers team, but only a sales man so he mostly advice you to send a support ticket.
* 60 days moneyback guarantee available, however, I myself haven't seen this in the first post which is weird.
* Some users claiming problems with IE and no solution as of now (at least not publicly announced, and those users do not report that they have / have not fixed it.
* A lot of add-on features have been requested. All of them are in "reviewing with the team" status. Or at least none of them have been publicly announced to be added.
* English being my 3rd language, the seller is a bit arrogant to some users (not trying to offend anyone)

I have a few questions myself:
1. Kindly asking other people to give some reviews on how the plugin is performing, aka is there a 5%/10%/more boost in traffic. Talking about legit sites with whitehat traffic.
2. What about adsense/cpa networks/amazon. Anyone being banned for this?
3. How do you protect yourself? I guess it's possible to get sued by Facebook for this? I see some people installing this on their main site (sites claiming to have thousands of visits). Aka does it break any terms or rules of Facebook? In my opinion it does (I have never read them!!!)

I guess that's all. :)

Kind regards,
Hades

I appreciate your review of this thread rather than the product and I'm sorry if I come across as arrogant.

I hope you can understand that it is sometimes frustrating

  • to repeat the same things over and over
  • to have someone quote you as saying something that you never said at all
  • to have people claiming the support team has nor responded to their ticket when they have responded
  • to see someone who hasn't used the plugin lay claims that it causes weird issues with their sites stats when used with AdSense
  • knowing that the plugin does work and that it is a tiny issue with either their blogs theme or another plugin that is causing the issue

I will defend myself, my BHW reputation and the plugin. I will also tell it how it is without sugar coating things. This may offend some people and I do apologize for that but we're all adults living in the real world.

This is a black hat tool and as such it may not conform to every term and condition set out by some websites. That is the nature of the beast I'm afraid. What I will say to anyone who is bothered by such things is "don't buy it".

Our support team answers all tickets within 24 hours even though some people may claim not to have received a reply.

Issues may arise when the customer is using a content locker on their blog or another fb related plugin that conflicts with ours. They are all simple matters that the support desk can clear up. Unfortunately there are some customers who simply post on the thread that the plugin isn't working which then causes concern for other people who are thinking about buying the plugin. Their issue is then dealt with by the support desk rather than publicly on the thread.

This thread isn't going to be used to provide detailed support for individual issues as these are dealt with using a support ticket system. All product providers set up and use a support ticket system to enable them to provide efficient support to each customer and for ease of administration.

Because all issues are resolved by the support desk you won't see issues as being mentioned as resolved on the thread. While issues are resolved the thread makes it appear otherwise.

What I would ask is that all customers use the support ticket system for which the URL is provided in the "readme" text file that comes with the plugin.

When this thread was opened there was one version of the plugin. We have now released a PRO version which we launched as a totally separate plugin. This is the reason why it was not mentioned on the opening post. Some members here may have been confused by this and thought the PRO version was released at the same time as the standard version. That was NOT the case.

The 60 day money back guarantee is, and always has been, clearly stated on the BHW members discount page at http://netbomber.com/theylikeme/BHWindex.html - I apologize if you have not yet read that page.

We kept the opening post of this thread short because we had set up a dedicated landing page for BHW members where the full details about the product could be provided.

The plugin is sold by a team called "Netbomber" and I am part of that team. My area within the team is sales and marketing. We have a coder who develops plugins and provides support to customers too.

What is odd about a small number of people working as a team, each bringing their own skill set, to develop and sell plugins? It's standard business practice. I deal with sales as I don't code or develop plugins - the coder deals with developing and supporting the products as that is his specialized area.

Does that make sense and explain things? It's a VERY common setup.

Comments and suggestions are taken on board and discussed to see what it achievable and when. Updates won't happen within 24 hours of someone suggesting them. We also have our own ideas for improving the plugin and these go in to a timeline for completion.

Hopefully I have managed to answer your questions and not come across as arrogant. Please feel free to let me know if there are any other questions that you have.

Thanks,

Shez

Hi,

With regards to setting up the plugin, there is nothing to actually set up. It is uploaded and activated like any other plugin. In the video I show how to license the plugin to your site but that is all there is to it.

The plugin comes with a readme file that explains things too. It's not complicated or technical, seriously, the plugin is uploaded, activated, licensed and it's then all set up and working.

A lot of the issues raised about the "likes" not registering is often due to the customer not reading the 'readme' file. We can usually clear things up in one reply to their support ticket.

Thanks,

Shez

Iono what trouble everyone is having, It takes like 1 minute to install the plugin, 20 seconds of it being entering in your email for it to verify and then it works just like it said.

:S

mr shezboy i just want to say that i think youre a pretty cool dude lol. you handle people very well and after reading some of the harsh posts by customers in this thread, im not sure how youre able to keep such a professional tone. i would have snapped a long time ago

your professionalism and manners are what led me to purchase this plugin and im not dissapointed at all. so far this plugin seems like the bomb diggity lol. i have gotten quite a few likes to my homepage only after a few minutes of having the plugin activated.

keep the positive attitude and i wish you much success buddy

peace

So you are getting likes to your facebook FAN page WITHOUT a user clicking the LIKE button on your website? Did you purchase the pro version or the standard version?

Well, to my pages, I don't have PRO so it only likes the pages of my website, can't direct them to specific pages. And Yes, they do not click the like button on my website and it gets likes.

Iono what all the trouble is, it's pretty much a 1-2 minute install and set it and forget it type of thing.

one more thing: i recall reading somewhere that someone wanted a more in-depth review of this plugin (success, increase in visitors, etc). ill post one up in a few days.

@shezboy; i have the pro version and was wondering if I only added 5 links to be "liked," will the plugin start over and go through the 5 links again or will it start posting links from the blog content til it gets to #10?

It looks like this program isn't designed to do what it is suppose to do. Here is a screen shot from the support desk. They are saying the user has to click the actual like button, LULZ.

Because I'm a new member it's not letting me post a screen shot from our conversation with tech support.

Shez email me on my email on my account or send me a private message and I will show you the screen shot.

I think we would like to get a refund, and ALL others, this program doesn't work like the thread starter said. I HAVE PROOF from talking to the support desk.

I am FLOORED - truly, I am 110% totally floored.............

I have seen the support ticket and YES a visitor DOES have to click a link in your site for the plugin to post a "like".

Please READ the actual landing page where you would have had to go to purchase the plugin http://netbomber.com/theylikeme/BHWindex.html - it CLEARLY states that the visitor has to click a link on you site for the "like" to be posted.

I'll happily ensure you get a refund and sorry that YOU misunderstood what the plugin does, even though it is clearly stated on the landing page where you purchase the plugin from.

Hi,

The PRO version will only post 'likes' for the URL's that you enter in to the box. It will not post any 'likes' for the site where you have the plugin installed. That site is totally protected.

If you only enter 5 URL's in the boxes then it will only ever post 'likes' for those URL's.

Does that make sense? Please let me know if you have any other questions and thank you for your purchase.

So you are getting likes to your facebook FAN page WITHOUT a user clicking the LIKE button on your website? Did you purchase the pro version or the standard version?

With both the standard and the PRO version your sites visitors will need to click a link on your site for the plugin to post a "like" to their wall.

Wow, are you fucking retarded? Look again here at what the support ticket staff SAID:

Thu, Oct 27 2011 11:50am - staff I logged into a fb account, and clicked your like button that is directly on your fan page. The like does not appear on my wall.

Your like counter did increase, but no like was posted on my wall.

Please test this yourself and confirm that likes to fan pages are not displayed on the visitor who clicks your like button.

Thu, Oct 27 2011 12:44pm - staff Here's an update, looking further down the list of likes on my wall, I see

RECENT ACTIVITY

This would indicate that the plugin is working as expected.

The like posted is not as big or as detailed as a normal website like, so I missed it.

He is CLEARLY saying he clicked the LIKE BUTTON on my website....Now you are saying they only click LINKS, not LIKES, but this guy is saying he had to click a LIKE in order for the facebook fan page counter to go up....Let's see here, I have sent over 40,000 uniques to this website in the past 24 hours, ALL of which are USA...My facebook fan page has grown, you guessed it, by MAYBE 5, and those are from real clicks....out of 40,000 unique visitors from USA, trust me, MORE than 5 users would be logged into facebook.

NO, actually you're wrong and have misunderstood what was said to you but enough is enough now sunshine. I will not be called a "fucking retard" - that is very offensive even without the foul language.

Please consider youself an ex-customer, your refund will be processed very shortly and I ask that you refrain from posting on this thread in the future. I will bring your post to the attention of the mods and that I have asked you to refrain from posting in the thread for the above reasons.

I have always been happy to deal with all questions and concerns but I will not be swore at or spoken to like that by anyone.

Thanks,

Shez

Great tool, however, what do you have to say about...

1. Edgerank will hardly allow these likes to appear on your friends news wall.

2. Facebook has now built a clickjacking defense into its "Like" button to alert you if Facebook thinks you're being tricked. When Facebook detects something suspicious, you'll be asked to confirm your "Like" before Facebook posts the action to your profile and your friends' News Feeds. This will be triggered.

3. And if so, your website and everything associated with it, will get banned...

This is a blackhat tool - after all, we are in a forum called 'blackhat world'.

With blackhat/greyhat tools there is always an element of risk involved and should you feel that risk outweighs the benefits then I would advise you not to use those kinds of tools.

FB may have built in defenses but this plugin does not trigger them.

Thanks,

Shez

So instead of offering a solution to a problem that doesn't work you ask the mods to remove a customer who couldn't get the plugin to work from the thread so that you don't look bad? That's great business. The plugin DOES NOT work, and never did work from day 1. You are saying that it is suppose to automatically like your fan page when a user who is logged into facebook is clicking around on random pages on your website, that's not the case. From what support said, they HAVE to click the like button. I suggest to anyone reading this thread to not purchase this plugin because it does not work.

Due to the fact of your abusive attitude, (asking me if I am "fucking retarded"), yes I reported that post to a mod and asked you to refrain from posting in here. I'd rather you have your money back and not be a customer than have you thinking you can use that kind of language when talking to me (or anyone else for that matter).

You have totally misunderstood how the plugin works and now you're here advising people not to buy it based on your misunderstanding??!!

There are others who are posting that they installed it, activated it without any issues and it is working fine.

I am sorry that you didn't understand how the plugin works but that's what this is, your misunderstanding. Now I am not going to stand by while you post on this thread that the plugin doesn't work and advise others not to buy it because of your misunderstanding of how the plugin works.

Doing THAT kind of thing will get you banned.

When can I expect a refund?

Oh very soon - I'll have the accounts dept process your refund as soon as they arrive at their desk. Please bear in mind that they may be on a different time zone from you though.

Thanks,

Shez
