I just signed up for the Basic Link Push Sub (5) and when I login it's not showing that I'm subscribed to anything. Does this take some time or what should I do? Thanks

Hi chasedyson,
It will most likely rectify itself. Greg has yet to let me down on anything.

While you're waiting (unless you've already done it) go on the site (click on the blog link at the top of the page) and watch all the tutorials and read all blog posts to get a feel for best practices. They're all nice and bitesized
:)

Wow.. I came check out this service and learn something extra. Thank you so much fabio for sharing knowledge with us.

Actually I don't do that anymore, it takes way too much time (around 45 - 60 minutes). Now I do the following:

1. Pick a keyword (in linkpush system) that's somewhat related to the keyword I'm targeting.
2. Grab one of the articles the system provides.
3. Hit submit.
4. Go to edit and just edit the title to make it human-readable.

And that's about it, now it takes about a minute per link push.

Just to make it easy, I'll be posting the Coupon Code for the BHW members periodically.

Here's the BHW coupon - B5EEDB4E63 or 323957875A

It will give you 10% off your subscription and it is a recurring coupon so
it will be active for you as long as that subscription remains active.

Also you can DL our Best Practices E-Book here - http://linkpushing.net/blog/faq/253/

And our Video Tutorials here - http://linkpushing.net/blog/video-tutorials/

Thanks!

If I was in a hurry, about long enough for the page to refresh. I don't use the linkpushes to get a site indexed.

Thanks...though I'm not using the pushes to get the site indexed. The site's 3 weeks old, moderate competition, and once I got it indexed I only did one link push, nothing else - and that brought it to #14 :) I've now pushed an inside page, about to do more insides, and just didn't know how long to wait before pushing the index again.

I would however recommend much more diversity, do an extra push to your homepage after a week, then another after 5 weeks etc etc. And all the time adding different bits too from different places, more bookmarks, no-follow, low pr, low auth and link with natural linktext too (5-20% of the time) such as, 'click here', 'try this', and also your domain name.

No doubt, great advice for everyone. I have all the link-building stuff planned out to start this week, just wanted to see the impact of the pushes first (and needless to say, the impact was quite excellent  )

Since in reality you're only building 4-8 links that point DIRECTLY to your site I see no reason to wait. Even if you did all 5 on the same day, that is still a max of 40 or so links to your site which won't all be built on the same day or found on the same day. I've built hundreds of links a day to my sites with no problems. I think the biggest thing is velocity. If you go great guns for a while then stop rankings tend to drop but if you keep it consistent or taper off rankings seem to stick

Seriously, there is no need to wait. I have been pushing one site 4-5 times per month because that was all I had left. I have several customers that I am pushing 4 times per month each. You only get a few links directly to the site on each push so you will not hurt your rankings.

On the case study I have pushed 24 times in 4 days to the home page, all of them were with different keywords but they are going to cycle through 3 times each before the month is out.

I have a site that gets no less than 10 linkpushes a day.. the site is new as I registered the domain in February of this year.

The deal is though that I add no less than 5,000 words of content to it a day as well so you need to consider that end of things... I know TNphoneman is also adding a bunch of content to his site, albeit not the volume I am doing.

We go on the "Content is King, Backlinks are Queen and together they make good children" theory.

That site is ranking for all manner of KWs and getting a bot load of organic traffic from the search engines.

Nicely done. I'm adding content regularly to this site, but nowhere near 5000 words a day, since it's a review site. I can only imagine how G eats up what you're doing :)

Question for anyone:

How many keywords should I target directly to the homepage? Does it matter if I have 5-10 linkpushes targetting different keywords to the homepage?

For instance: "Buy Ipad" --->buyipad.com

then the next linkpush would be "Buy ipad free" ----> buyipad.com

then the next linkpush would be "buy ipad free online" ---> buyipad.com

is this good practice?

If I am targeting 1 keyword for one url of my site and I do multiple LPs (say 5 of them) for that url with using the same keyword won't there be the chance of the same Web 2.0 backlink pointing to the same url among the 5 LPs? Since it will be coming from the same Web 2.0 (even though it will be a different article/content there) it will still be same IP. So doing like even 10 or 15 LPs the chance of using the same Web 2.0 increases even though it is random every time.

Any feedback on this subject?

Yes because there is a finite number of web 2.0's and sooner or later you'll have different articles posted on the same web 2.0 pointing to your site.

I'm one of the first users of this service and have hundreds,if not a thousand, articles published using link pushes, a lot them are on the same web 2.0's but I'm ranked on page 1 for some very competitive keywords using this method. Hope that answers your question.

I target a lot of keywords directly to my home page, and the harder the keyword, the more link pushes I send with that keyword to my home page, not individual pages.

For example, if the keyword is "latest news", I can't really target individual pages, I just direct the link pushes to my home page.

@JohnnyRabbit - I use a minimum of 2 keywords on every push. With those that you listed I would use all three. Long tail keyword pushes do seem to help.

Using your words I will give you an example of what I had on my site.

Buy Ipad - One article
BuyIpad - Second Article
BuyIpad.com - Third article

When I pushed each individual article, I used all 3 formats and after one push on each page all three words are on page 1. There are only 2 pages that show up but at least one of the articles are on the page.

I have also had keywords that were singular like maybe "Ipad" so I would then add a word to it as the second keyword in the push, it would be something like "buy Ipad". Those pushes have done really well for me.

Over thinking it a bit. There is really no difference between this and posting multiple articles on an article directory such as ezine. It amounts to the same thing.

If you use or add longtail keywords to that mix then yes you will have the link from the same site but you will have a different anchor text. This is why I always use at least 2 keywords.

So if I have a site that has 10 pages and each page I've optimized for 1 keyword then when I do the LPs to each page (homepage and 9 internal pages) I should use the keyword that the page is optimized for and related keyword that also gets some searches each month?

So for example if the homepage is optimized (and I want to rank for this keyword) for "cheap apple ipad" and I did like 5 LPs for the homepage I should use the keywords "cheap apple ipad" and "discount apple ipad" for each of the 5 LPs? So I should maybe include the "discount apple ipad" a few times within my content on the homepage while the rest of the article is between 2%-3% keyword density for "cheap apple ipad"?

Also the keywords that you use for the LPs do you research the exact search volume and is there a minimum monthly exact search volume that you go after?

Well if you are targeting one word, I would use

Cheap Apple Ipad
and
Apple Ipad Cheap
or
Discount Cheap Apple Ipad

Heck looking at it, I might just use all 3... LOL

People say I am crazy and don't know what I am talking about but I use the broad numbers 480 and above. If I can rank for the broad numbers, I am going to rank for the exact. The reason for this is that nobody searches in quotes except IM people. I want to rank for all those weird searches that you see like "ipad apple blue" or "ipad blue apple" or even "apple blue ipad". Some of them the competition is very tough but I am figuring 5% of the broad local numbers. Just because I will get some global traffic also.

I have 2 keywords right now that sit at #6 and #7 individually without quotes and #1 and 2 on a search in quotes for each keyword. They are very closely related.

I thought everyone is trying to rank in the broad searches? Who actually uses quotes? I sure don't!

Link pushing has been great. All but one of my sites has seen a great boost. The only thing is I have 2 link pushes which seem to have been being processed for over 72 hours now. Not upset with that at all, hope everything is normal is all, as I added a new link push last night and by the morning it was completed :)

The site which has received no boost has only had one push done to it and its a new domain, so I am interested to see how many link pushes are required to see movement as its an easy keyword.
