If you are afraid of your ranking dancing around you could always use Web 2.0 buffer sites that point to your site, and then send a blast at the Web 2.0 sites (hubpages, blogger, wordpress.com, etc.) instead.

Not gonna lie, a lot of spam on the blogs but this is all about sheer VOLUME of links. If Google even notices a tenth of these links and they stick, you've probably just got yourself the best deal on an online service ever

Oh yeah, there are a lot of them like that, but there are also a bunch of gems in there that have low OBL and fairly decent (on page) PR. But to go volume as you say, there is going to be a ton of random stuff. I've actually been seeing a fair amount of .edu links in some campaigns that I have gone back and reviewed. As far as only a tenth, it will be much more than that, just give it a few weeks

I thought I would do an analysis on a random 5,000 backlink campaign for people to see. This was just a run of the mill campaign from my completed orders:

That is the on-page pagerank, not the root domain pagerank.
"Desirable" type TLDs
45 .edu links
1 .gov link
Pages with between 1 and 100 outbound links: 2,032

I thought I would post this so everyone could have a look at what is in there. Remember, that was just a 5,000 live link campaign for $25. I've seen other places on the 'net that are charging a little to a lot more than that for just a tiny handful of PR3 to PR5 links. With a 5,000 blast you get (If I stuck with the actual advertised number, which I don't, it's kind of insane really) around another 3,000 backlinks slammed on top of it that are mixed PR0-PR1 and have your anchor text identifying your site with keywords to the search engines.

Awesome service. Much like everyone else, I got way more than I paid for. All work and reports were completed before I had time to even think about following up. Im interested to see how many stick and/or get indexed over the next couple weeks. I will definitely use this again.
