I too got my report last week and was surprised to see the amount of work that was involved with the service. Here's a quick rundown of my review of the service:
Communication: I communicated with him through Google chat and always got a response. In regards to the progress of the project, he was more than happy to keep me updated. If I had questions about the niche and the keywords I was interested in working on, he spent a generous amount of time researching and discussing what the best approach will be. If by chance he wasn't online to chat (which was rare) he responds to emails within 24 hours. Given that this a long term project, he definitely is sensitive to the fact that people need to kept in the loop with what's going on. I never had any issues at all in getting in touch with him.
SEO Insight: He asks for a primary word, secondary word, and some long tail words to go along with the project. The project involves a variety of link building techniques by using properties like forums, web 2.0, rss feeds, etc. Now it's the way that they blend all this together and how they link it I guess is what really makes the service unique. Basically it's an all in one type of service...so saves some time in keeping up with different providers.
Reports: The reports are all organized in excel sheets. Each excel doc separates the categories of link types. Screenshots of SERP progression and improvement is included, so for those visual people out there this might be nice. You can actually get to see the SERP climbing, nice little motivational touch. The detail involved in the reports is overwhelming, but for those that really wanna look through each link (which might take days) it's all laid out for you.
Results: Like I mentioned before in a pre-review post, I stopped all link building efforts for the previous 6 months for a competitive term that I initially was targeting. I was stuck at about 30-35 page 3. I started to focus my attention on my other sites. There was no movement whatsoever for a few months. I decided to try this out and see if it will result in some movements, to my surprise after all was said and done...after being stuck for months at about 30-35...I am now flip flopping from 5-9 within the first page! The secondary and tertiary words I decided to attach to the project have seen significant gains as well. Given that I wasn't doing anything at all for link building for this site and really had nothing ongoing. I knew that it was his efforts through this project that was causing the movement.
Overall: One happy customer, that already is working on a second project with this provider. A+ provider and service.
