Error... dunno if you saw my previous post, but i would really love to see better handling of free proxies...

Be able to load 50 accounts in, 100 free proxies, and let TA assign one proxiy per account, when one fails take one from the spares.. keep going till it runs out of proxies..

Could you add something like please...:)

Im just curious, may I know why you need 500 users to follow the same people at the same time?
Not 500 users. 500 Twitter accounts managed by TA. You make my point. I can't see that anyone would need 500 accounts following the same people. As the multithread Follow module is presently configured, that's what happens. Unless we go through and manually assign different URLs to each individual (or group) of accounts managed by TA.

And I think they cant just ban users on that pattern especially if the requests are coming from different IPs because its natural for people to follow the followers of some people they like because of the similarities in interests, cultures or other kind of stuffs.
I'm in agreement if it were one or two Twitter accounts adding followers from a list. That's not the case, as the "set URL" function specifies one URL for the entire list of accounts in the follow module. Sub-groups can be selected and assigned different URLs, but that still results in mass redundancy. The result -- 100+ accounts are adding friends from the same URL and those friends are identical, since TA's follow module starts and ends adding at the same data point for all accounts.

Worse, the multithread feature means that identical friends are being added in concurrent and not sequential operations: the same friends from the same list/URL are being added to 100+ accounts loaded in the Follow module.

Or do you just need to follow all the followers of certain account using multiple accounts . . . .
No. The way the Follow module works, it's a bit cumbersome to assign multiple TA accounts to follow multiple Twitter niche accounts. As tdog1 suggested, the ability to load a list of URLs that are assigned to the account list at random is one workaround (resulting in a variety of niche URLs assigned to the TA account list).

Im not just comfortable with the accounts jumping and browsing between pages, its just very unnatural and easy to trace . . .
I'm not sure how that would be easier to trace than 100+ accounts adding identical friends from the identical list of followers, beginning with follower #01 and ending with follower #150. The end result is you have 100-1000 TA accounts following a random number of list Twitterers from that same pool of 150 friends. I would think that results in a more readily identifiable pattern.

If your research has shown randomizing pages culled from might set off alarms, maybe tdog's suggestion is best.

I agree, uploading a url list will be better solution to this. Ill add this one in the next version.

Manually assigning isn't all that bad...I export the task then edit it in excel. Pretty easy to vary the urls using a list of words. I forget the format, but it's something like this

user987|*****|
user9s7|*****|
user957|*****|
user917|*****|

then paste whatever url fragment in the next column

user987|*****|h**p://twitter.com/#search?q=
user9s7|*****|h**p://twitter.com/#search?q=
user957|*****|h**p://twitter.com/#search?q=
user917|*****|h**p://twitter.com/#search?q=

then paste a list of keywords in the next column

user987|*****|h**p://twitter.com/#search?q=Yankees
user9s7|*****|h**p://twitter.com/#search?q=Jets
user957|*****|h**p://twitter.com/#search?q=Giants
user917|*****|h**p://twitter.com/#search?q=Mets

then either paste it back into the txt file and use find and replace to eliminate tab spaces or use excels concatenate function to put them together.

for followers urls a little more work but same idea

Add column of h**p://twitter.com/ then column of keywords then column /followers

user987|*****|h**p://twitter.com/Yankees/followers
user9s7|*****|h**p://twitter.com/Giants/followers
user957|*****|h**p://twitter.com/Mets/followers
user917|*****|h**p://twitter.com/Jets/followers

Might be nice to automate, but when I'm running it on a couple hundred accounts it's not that big a deal for something that will run for days and days.

The follow feature doesnt work well. It just go to next page, and just follow 1 person for page.

I'm working with about 150 Twitter accounts, with each tweeting every 20 to 30 minutes. I'm getting "operation timed out" due to the new restrictions.

Should I buy proxies? If yes, how many Twitter accounts can I use per proxy? And can anyone here recommend a proxy service?

I'd like to try this program. I downloaded the free version but got an error message that said my license would not validate and to check my internet connection. I have no problem logging on to the internet or with any other programs. I don't want to purchase until this problem is resolved as I assume the paid version will have the same issue.

Please assist.

Thanks!

I just bought tweet attacks and have a similar problem.

Im getting time out errors when trying to add followers. I use livelybrowser friend adder and it was working on the same accounts so it must has something to do with tweetattacks.

I havent tried any other features to see if they work.

PS I tested without proxies so that isnt the problem.

Error do you think in the next update you could include an option to save a list of the users following a specific user [i.e. the followers of problogger's profile] that we can then use for the follow module?

Some other twitter programs have that option and I find it much easier to compile a large list of followers and then just following that list than trying to save the specific URL of an account's following list.

even just the option to upload a txt file with a list of twitter usernames would be useful?

Wait and reply seems to be working not so great after the last update.

Anyone having issues?

I just saw this thread, and apologies if this has been answered... it would take me 2 hours to go thru 44 pages of replies.

I installed the free version (download on page 1) on Win 7 Ultimate 64, and cannot find the icon to start the application - it said it installed successfully, and I have .NET.

Please help!

the icon not showing should have nothing to do with .net framework if it TA installed correctly it should atleast be in your program files.

In 64bit Windows 7 there is a "Program files" folder and a "Program files 32-bit" folder. One of them shouldd have a "Traffic Addict" folder in it.

Thanks! installed the program, and started it. It took the login/pass ok, and then logged me to twitter. When I tried to do 'start following' got an error "Unhandled exception has occured..."

Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

Please help. Thanks.
